Joined our granddaughter for her 17th birthday at El Rincon tapas restaurant at Tattenham Corner .EpsomBright airy dining area seating 6 was comfortable .The owner was very attentive explaining in detail content and cooking details on the menu .On suggestion we ordered2-3 dishes each on reflection I would have preferred to concentrate on smaller number as the table was crowded but easily accessible to the dishes. The table inc two chef suggestion which were very special and delicious .Next time I will be leaving all choices to the excellent chefThe night concluded with a cake and a complete Spanish choir of El Rincon staffMany thanks from a proud Grandad ...see you soon
Carmona have taken over the Cau site, lock, stock and barrel. Offering Spanish tapas and Argentinian steaks it is similar in menu and has taken over furnishings too, so again very little change. The 7 tapas dishes and bottle of wine we had were all good. Everything felt chaotic, staff seemed to need to be everywhere at once, with no-one dedicated to any section, but they worked incredibly hard and as such we will give it another go.

The Reigate Tavern is a newly-renovated pub where locals, office workers and commuters come to enjoy a welcoming space.
I rented a room whilst away with work. The accommodation is clean, warm, comfortable. Much quieter than local hotels, on site car parking, plenty of places to eat within a 10 minute walk to town, co-op round the corner for essentials. Run by a friendly, helpful family team. Really comfy bed, spacious room. Would 100% recommend for female travellers as it felt very safe plus the pub downstairs is lovely, you could pop down for a drink, or to read the paper with a nice glass of wine and have no bother at all. Shame the pub doesn't do evening meals or would have eaten there. Good WiFi.Breakfast hamper is very basic, it's a cereal bar, juice, water -some pre packed croissants would be good, as would a hairdryer. The decor and furniture was a bit of a Mish mash, some high quality oak furniture mixed with carpet in the bathroom and woodchip. All in all, excellent value for money at £60 for single occupancy but it's not a boutique b&b so dont go expecting that!. Would recommend over the nearby hotels if alone, far more homely.
Great choice of very authentic Tapas. The food is always well presented and tasty here. Helpful staff.Nice to finally have a replacement in Reigate since the Spanish restaurant close down.

Our group met here for a bit of an end-of-term social, and I've got to say that the staff dealt very well with a boisterous 60-strong crowd. They kept the drinks coming efficiently, cleared the tables throughout the evening, and stood back in admiration as we enjoyed a bit of a sing-song to finish the evening. Next time I'll try the food!
