We ate in this restaurant today but faced with a bill for 77⬠for the 3 of us this was the most expensive meal we've eaten. Bread is charged at 0.99⬠each so beware! The food was good and the attention reasonable. But there are many cheaper places to eat in nearby villages.

Whilst I am very familiar with the bar and pinchos and raciones at Pitanza ( which are excellent ) our recent dinner in the restaurant was excellent as well and exceeded all expectations.Beautifully presented traditional Galician food and Galician generous portions.Limited but good wine list.Reasonably priced - approx â¬30 per including wine

Difficult town to find anywhere for a pilgrim to eat. No vegetarian resturants either. This resturant located near the end of the bridge is small but a little different. Sit outside or inside. Its a pleasent place to relax. Which is what I liked about the resturant.Coffee was Ok. Came with a little biscuit. Nice touch.

As we walked the Camino Inglés, we had numerous opportunities to eat seafood. After reading the reviews here on TripAdvisor, we were not disappointed. Zas is a very simple restaurant/bar, but clearly popular with the locals. We got there shortly after they opened and in no time at all, most of the tables were taken. The seafood was delicious! We ordered three different tasty delights including pulpo, squid, and clams. To go along with these, our Pimientos de Padron were some of the best that we sampled along our Camino. This would definitely be my go-to restaurant if I lived in Pontedeume. Excellent service and filled with the simple charm Spain is know for.

We live in this part of the world for three months every year and always visit La Solana just once - it is very good but the menu has not changed in fifteen years so it could get boring if visited more frequently. This time we went for dinner and we're not disappointed high quality produce, carefully prepared and served by polite and not over attentive staff. The "amuse bouche " is always so large that we Only order three starters between four as we know they are also very large . Octopus- the best I have ever tasted. A different salad with dried fruit, cheeses and nuts and the ever popular croquetas.Rather boringly we all had entrecôte steak - real steak - not ternera which is like rose veal. Two home made puddings between us, two bottles of Ribera de Duero, Coffee and Brandy- 200 euros including a large tip (not really necessary but we only once or twice a year

We were a party of 4 overnighting whilst walking the Camino Inglês. A short walk from the centre this was ideal for us. Informal and friendly with a good selection we had octopus, zamburinos and squid followed by the trademark pork with lovely local wines. Fantastic value can not recommend highly enough.

Authentic, local and not very touristic restaurant. We had the Rodicio Completo which consisted of unlimited salad buffet, hot sides and the main event, an epic stream of sumptuous mouthwatering meat. They grill 14 different types and cuts of meat and deliver and slice them at your table. And to finish it off, surprisingly tasty grilled pineapple! All for â¬18.50 pp. â¬22 pp including soft drinks and a glass of wine. No English spoken but very friendly staff!Gracias
