This restaurant was packed on a Saturday for lunch - the food was ok, many had the speciality "lechaza" and said it was average. Some at our table received their main course well after the others were finished. The staff were completely unpleasant and rude, not only to us but to everyone. There are so many asadors in the area I would recommend trying somewhere else.

Located with the Convento Las Claras, is a marvelous restaurant. It serves fabulous food with the local wine. For those unfamiliar with the Ribera de Duero or Rueda regions, these regions produce magnificent reds and stylish whites, respectively, that one should get to know. The local delicacy is lamb. We had it two ways, lamb chops and skewered lamb. The lamb chops were good, but the skewered lamb was exquisite. It literally fell off the bone and melted in the mouth. With a Ribera de Duero based sauce, it was exceedingly moist and flavorful. For starters we had salads. One was filled with fresh greens and topped with marvelous slice of goat cheese wrapped in filo, it was unexpectedly good. The other salad consisted of tomatoes, red and yellow, red peppers, eggplant and zucchini all roasted on the grill. It was topped Jamon Iberico and served on a bed of wild mushrooms. This was a meal in itself.

I was a bit surprised to be offered such a horrible wine in the middle of a wine region (actually they put lemonade (casera) right next to it, as there is no other way you could drink this dark stuff, I could not drink it anyway). Starters were acceptable wheras the main dish was fine. Good for families (childrenâs area). Next time I would choose another restaurant if in the area, there are nicer places.

In the state of Nuevo León in the North of Mexico where We are from, the regional dish is a milk fed goat (cabrito al pastor) grilled in wood and is pretty tasty. I wanted to compare, knowing that the regionâs dish (Lechazo) is baby lamb. Although very similar, Lechazo to my surprise, was superior in taste. Cabrito is drier since it is cooked hanged in a crucified manner while Lechazo is cooked in a wood pit in a casserole. We loved this place, the salad although simple, was super fresh and organic. Pair it with a simple young Tempranillo from the Ribera del Duero, to much flavor, no need to spend big money on a Reserva or grand reserva.

This is a picturesque local restaurant with a staff that aims to please. Our host visited the restaurant on several occasions and let us to this place. The first courses were outstanding. We had octopus and outstanding asparagus. The asparagus was so good that one of our party elected to ask for a second helping. The milk fed baby lamb was interesting and unique. Itâs not an entrée one would order frequently but when in Spain etc. The rest of the menu looked great too. I recommend this restaurant.

Visited on a Friday night .Set in the heart of the town with a rather plain entrance that leads into a cosy small dining room . Fairly busy, Excellent young staff who were helpful and efficient. Charming patron/cook explained the menu and took orders. Very good local dishes , great quality and value , very reasonable wine list too Certainly a find in this non tourist part of Spain.

We just went for a light lunch, so ate downstairs in the casual bar area. Warm welcome and an interesting tapas/raciones menu. Great mixed salad and the octopus on half a roll was superb. It was tender and tasty. with barbeque undertones. Had wine by the glass and were very happy.Thank you very much for your opinion. If you come back to visit us we will be delighted to assist you again. Thank you.

We opted for the grand menu (â¬60) and unfortunately didn't enjoy the "out there experience" the chefs were trying to capture. For the North American taste, the items were just too strange. The space is beautiful - staff very pleasant, but after all we are here for lunch - which was a bomb unfortunately - sorry!A couple of bites were ok, but overall not good at all.Thank you very much for your confidence in the C21 experience and for visiting the Ribera del Duero.

If you want amazing wine and food in Ribera del Duero, look no further. Ambivium is a must. The experience is first class. The service, attention to detail, the quality and taste of the food, the wine, the decor, ambiance, I can just go on all day! We are a group of 18 and we were treated like royalty. They even went out of their way to cater to my nephew who is allergic to shellfish and gluten. They baked him his own gluten-free bread! The smile on his face was priceless!!! He ate the entire 10 inch loaf. This place is an experience you cannot pass up! Thank you so much for your opinion. We are pleased to see that our work is recognized by the visitors. We strive to take care of every detail and improve the quality of our dishes and our service. We are specially proud of our caring of food allergies, one of the most important things in a professional kitchen, so we thanks you your attention in this detail. We looking forward to your visit again.
