The resturant is being remodelled so until June approx service is in the posada in the village rather than by the river. Nonetheless it is cosy and very good food.Thank you very much for your commentDespite being moving and works we liked so glad that your visit to our restaurant at the Inn.Thank you very much, hope to see you soon here again

We stopped in pastrana on way home from Costa Blanca, we stumbled on this beautiful place whilst searching for a restaurant. It was amazing ! My husband and I can only just get by in Spanish and there was no English spoken here , but we managed. We opted for their set menu, which was three starters, one main ,, desert with wine, bread and water . We were there two hours , leisurely eating and sipping with dappled shade and sun and amazing views around us . The food was rustic, local and extremely tasty , the service was welcoming and excellent and a smiling lady to serve us even though she must have thought our attempt at Spanish was appalling! Well done Laurea , we will certainly recommend you!

We had lunch but nothing I remember to really like. Their service was good. I wished we had gone another place.

As starter we ordered nice and fresh green asperges nature with salt. On advise of the patron we took a bottle of local Guadalajara 'Finca RÃo Negro' and that was an excellent choice. As main course were the Chuletas Lechal and the Lechal Asado also very nice. The Medias Lunas as dessert were tasty. We loved also the medieval accomodation.

If you come to Pastrana a visit to this genuine and charming place offering both a lovely restaurant and excellent dishes with lots of local and regional touch is a must. The peculiar old style paintings with small weird modern details hidden in them are also worth seeing only for their preciousness. Dear Erik S,Thank you very much for your lovely words about your recent stay at Cenador de las Monjas. We are really happy to hear that you enjoyed our house and our service :-). We hope to see you again. All our Cenador team will waiting for you!Kind regards and have a Cenador daySilvia Prieto
