We went to this place while staying in the town during the camino de Santiago. The bar / restaurant is right by the local swimming pool (1â¬) entry! The food was fantastic and the service friendly and efficient (English is spoken very well here).Perfect place to chill out

The bacalao is the star dish and people come from the whole region to try it. It was amazing. My friend had a steak, cooked to perfection and according to her the best steak she had ever had. Staff was lovely and the refurbished restaurant area looks amazing. You MUST visit this!!!!

We offer a wide range of quality wines, both Galician and the rest of the country, a family atmosphere and variety of tapas, rations, sandwiches and mixed dishes to satisfy the appetite of our customers. We have a varied and inexpensive daily menu or pilg
Really can't fault it and the owners were all so keen to please.Good honest, hearty food for an amazing price - just what we needed after a long day walking the Camino. As other reviews say it's owned & run by a chap from the UK (Barnstaple?) who met his wife from here 31 years ago. Their son is also working here and is bi-lingual and similarly helpful & friendly. After we finished our meal we moved to the front bar and had a final couple of glasses of wine with the locals - great place! We had a good time with you on the bar. It was a pleasure to having you eating in our place. Greatings from Pepito and us.

Situated along the main street of Negreira , Street Cachurra in a centennial building and of the most emblematic of the people. The best place to enjoy a good coffee with homemade pastries or breakfast completely. It also has a varied menu : rations , toa
Wandered in here in the pouring rain while walking Camino with no idea if it would be any good. After six weeks in Spain we are a bit tired of sameness of usual standard menus (e.g fries, grilled pork, white bread, tortilla etc) at wayside cafes. Absolutely stunned to see on the menu here Mexican tacos and gyoza. Good fusion versions. Both were fabulous - tacos soft, dollop of guacamole, slightly spicy chicken and salsa. Gyoza steamed and grilled on one side as they should be, soy sauce on the side. Then had a deluxe burger- homemade black bun, huge wedge of local goat cheese, homemade tomato chutney and beef. Menu also has spaghetti with zucchini and pesto, homemade lentil burger, wraps with chicken Caesar salad. Friendly and smiling staff, few glasses of Rioja. Total unexpected treat. thank you very much for your assessment!we are pleased to see that everything was to your liking and how he explains it perfectly. We appreciate that our customers try the news of our menu and see what they like, in this way we want to continue innovating and improving so that their experience is satisfactory. If they come back to do "el camino de Santiago" we invite you to visit us again.a greeting and "buen camino"

Comida tradicional gallega, con una clara apuesta por el mejor producto de Km0. Lo mejor de nuestra huerta acompañado con las mejores carnes de vacuno mayor, y los mejores pescados y mariscos de nuestras rÃas gallegas.
I completely did not feel welcome in this restaurant and definitely felt like I was more an inconvenience than a customer. While the food was ok, service was unfriendly. This may have been down to the staff having a bad day or the fact I was clearly a pilgrim and not a repeat customer. Weird thing was, if it was a good experience, I was going to go back for dinner. Very disappointing!
