Zuzu is a perfect small restaurant near the river that delivers a wonderful dining experience. We sat outside on the front of the restaurant which is the perfect place to be when the weather is permitting. Great creative tapas dishes were recommended by our server, Joseph. He was instrumental in helping us navigate thru all of the menu choices that you have at Zuzu. Each item was $8-$15. I recommend the white anchovies and the cheese plate. If we had showed up with bigger appetites we would have tried the paella. It looked delicious. Maybe next time.

I love to eat good quality food and that is what they presented at La Taberna. Spanish tapas in a bar atmosphere was just a delight. You have to be careful because the price does add up quickly, but the quality was definitely there. We ordered fish ala plancha (perfectly cooked), mussels (sweet and tender, but only 4), Calimari risotto in ink (delicate and filling), The jamon was quite earthy and authentic. The Bocadillos was very tasty and rich. We finished with a flan, that was smooth and creamy like a cheesecake. Real vanilla and rich cream just filled our mouths with delight. I would love to return and try the Pig's ears which I heard are wonderful. Good quality and worth the time and expense. Just a bit less than 5 circles because I would have liked a bit bigger portions.

There were five of us at the table and all of us agreed this was truly an authentic place to enjoy an amazing meal. Piping hot tortillas, delicious salsa, cheese enchiladas and pollo asado....I'm in heaven! Delightful staff, very friendly people and prompt service. Will return soon!
