I have lived here for several years, but have never tried La Merenda. It was on the top of my todo list. We tried tonight and it was delicious. A few favorites were the Chimichurri and Steak, the Risotto and the Blackberry Old Fashioned. The shrimp dumplings are just too spicy for our table. And for dessert, you cannot go wrong with the Creme Brulee! Great spot to sit outside, around a table and visit with friend-while getting served delicious food!

We went for dinner on a Friday night. We didn't have reservations and sat at the Bar. While it was a cozy experience during a crowded and busy time, it was wonderful. The service was excellent. The cocktails are crafted with a unique twist on some old favorites as well as new ideas. The food was flavorful and nicely presented. This was an overall excellent experience that I would definitely put on repeat. If you want the experience of a table, you should absolutely make reservations because it seems everyone knows about this great place.

Had another great meal at Cubanitas last night. Meals were prepared well, tasted great, and the wine was good. We had what appeared to be a relatively inexperienced server, which didn't bother us. However, at the end of our meal, the young server spilled my wife's glass of wine into her lap (it was clearly accidental). My problem is: a quality manager should have noticed when a young server was bringing multiple towels, one wet down with club soda to a table, and gone to investigate. In the end we received several apologies from the server only, no offer to help with any cleaning bills, and the worst part was, no offer to remove the spilled glass of wine from our bill.

Three of us went here for lunch and we were very impressed with the tasty empanadas! We tried three different kinds, the chicken pesto, the cuban and mushroom truffle. All of them were fantastic! Great flavor, not no thick of crust and just the right amount of filling. We had the skinny fries with them and the jicama salad. Excellent! Our waiter was friendly and helpful. We tried one of the dessert empanadas, the ricotta and lemon zest empanada and that was also very good. I would definitely come back here and highly recommend it!
