I think is overrated and very expensive of the kind of food they serve. Stay Away from the lamb.. Driest thing I ever tasted

We stayed in Mazagon for the month of November 2014 and visited this restaurant about 5 times. It is well worth a visit, they do tapas and some raciones but its mostly small plates. Everything we tried was good. However the stand out dish for me was the tuna with a burnt sesame seed and caramelised soy dressing, on top of similarly treated red peppers and accompanied by a light wasabi cream ( very mild) and also with a small portion of ginger. This is a dish you will never forget. The tuna is very fresh and only cooked on the outside and completely raw in the middle. It comes in small bite sized portions. This dish costs 4 euros....... 4 euros for something you will never forget. You must try it. Also this place has a good ambience and some great music. The wine is cheap and the waitresses are stunning. It was busy in November so I suspect that in summer you might need to book.By the way tapas and indeed all meals in Spain start at 9pm and I do not know what time they finish serving because I was never the last one out, often one of the first.

Well the sausage on fire as an appetizer was quite a surprise as we were waiting on our food! We enjoyed some ensaladia with tuna while they made the arroz with bogavante! Rice with lobster oh my gosh it was delicious!!! However 45E for 2 for rice with a small lobster was a litle higher than I expected but it was very very good. The waiter was very attentive. I would go back and try something else on the menu too

Its a nice little bar / restaurant in the square Fuentepinas. Had half portion of boquerones and a half portion of pez Rosado. The boquerones were very fresh and well cooked. The pez rosado was a bit dry and I suspect was frozen. A couple of cervezas, tinto verano and coffee, a very reasonable 21 euros for lunch. Would go back as it was a nice clean place

So first of all... the food was an absolute dream!! Like really really really good! We had a salad with goat cheese ice cream, tuna tataki, mango salmorejo, mushroom risotto and finally coulant de chocolate. I couldnât tell you wich one was my favorite, as everything was absolutely perfect! The owner himself served us and was super friendly, smiley and attentive. He organized our order, so that everything would come out at the right time. The wine was just beautiful! Basically everything was a 10 out of 10 and i would love to give more stars if i could. He even brought us a delicious bottle of liquor after the desert. You really would be missing out if you donât try this place while youâre here! Also there are great vegan options here too!

Having checked the restaurant during the day and spoken to the owner we went along expecting a good evening. The atmosphere was very pleasant all that we expect in Spain which we have visited almost every year since the 80's. The first course of gambas served cold were satisfactory. The main course strongly recommended by our host was bacalao, supposedly grilled but in fact awash with oil and baked in the most harsh sauce imaginable. The garlic on mine had been burnt. I think the most disappointing meal ever for us.We left as soon as we could leaving half eaten meals.First thank you for your comment to continue improving day by day. Sorry you did not like cod. feel free to ask about the preparation of our dishes. Cod is prepared grilled, with a sauce of oil, garlic and paprika. For the next visit, if you do not like a dish not hesitate to tell us and we will replace it free of charge happy.

At Cilantro we combine the goodness of Mediterranean food with Asian and other cuisines in order to surprise our guests with a different touch. But Cilantro is not just food, our excellent selected wines and its charming atmosphere will make your visit wo
We wanted somewhere that didn't just do the same food as all the other restaurants in town seem to and also somewhere that could provide interesting tapas options for a vegetarian, as well as a carnivore. Cilantro was perfect - it is a quirky little restaurant, away from the "main strip" of restaurants where we had eaten previously. Javier and his team have done a great job with the decor, the music, the creative menu and the presentation of the food. We loved it and tried too many things (but that meant we could take some home with us for lunch the next day!!). Javier loves to explain the menu (English and German are both spoken fluently at this restaurant) and to help you put a great meal together. There are main dishes as well as tapas but we like to try different things and share. Based on our experience on a Monday night, we would highly recommend Cilantro for the friendly welcome, the ambience, the quality of the food and diversity of the menu. We will definitely go back next time we are in Mazagon!Thank you Karen so much for taking the time to drop us such a lovely review. As you said, at Cilantro we have options for both, vegetarians and carnivores. We hope to see you again soon at our venue.Kind regards,The Cilantroâs team

Second time I have tried to find this tapas bar. Walked up and down following map and then Google directions ! Never found it ?Is the map right Señor,lamento mucho que no nos encontrara.Es Av/Fuentepiña n23,junto a Tasca Marina. El penultimo bar de la calle. Quizas en el mapa de Tripavisor no se vea muy claro.Lo sentimos mucho.En el toldo se ve el nombre de Foreño Tapas.Esperamos recibirlo pronto.Un saludo!
