when we asked local people about a good restaurant , "soda" to eat properly some costa rican food, everybody, without hesitation, told us about this place. we went there and it became, for 5 days, our restaurant in Manuel Antonio.it's located in the heart of the tiny town just in front of the beach... u only have to cross to road to lie on the beach and the best thing is that u have your meal looking at the sea.anyway, food is great, the best smoothies ever tried, above all the one with maracuja and orange. the staff is friendly and ask about "limon", the waiter, he'll help u to find the best meal!very recomended

Our family of four (including kids age 11 and 13) loved, loved, lived this restaurant...so much so that we ate dinner here twice during our one week vacation in Manuel Antonio. The menu had numerous choices to satisfy everyone in our family and the food presentation was unique. Our kids loved the blackberry smoothies. The "big people" loved the chicken and rice dish. Good-sized portions and a lovely outdoor seating area. Be sure to give some loving pets to Linda the Dog who resides at the restaurant!Thank you very much for your comment

We stopped at Gemelos after a tour or MA park. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner in a casual atmosphere with tables inside and outside on the main road looking out towads the ocean and the main public beach in MA. The server was very entertaining and friendly. The food was typical Costa Rican and the lunch we had was good and very filling. We have the chicken casado plates (one of the best we had in MA), sandwhiches, soup and the kids had the chicken strips and fries. They also had great smoothies for only 1,000 colones that everyone enjoyed. A place for a simple meal at a reasonable price close to the beach and National Park.Also, a lot of the surfer crowd hangs out here so if you want to negotiate some good surfing lessons this is probably the place to go and see what kind of deal you can work. Without trying they offered us $40 for two hours of lessons and then use of a board the rest of the day so this seemed pretty good.

My family dined here a week ago while on vacation. The food was delicious but the service was exceptional. They have a nice view and we enjoyed our experience. The complimentary coconut after-dinner aperitif was a nice touch.Our bar captain is particularly proud of his special touches such as after dinner aperitif!What you have experienced was our tight family like operations.We are a happy group of people who care for Mango Moon hotel and Vista Luna restaurant as their own. Your attribute is a great validation for all of our staffs and Iâll be gladly sharing with them.Thank you for reaving a review!

This place is across from the beach on a busy bustling street. There was one vegan option (a rice sautéed with vegetables that came with French fries-rice was pretty good). The food was made quickly. I had one cocktail and then ordered a 2nd & received 2 as it was happy hour so for 2 for 1. I felt absolutely nothing after the third drink (all vodka based)-normally I feel the first drink. I wouldnât return here or recommend it.

Went back multiple times, the food is great value and tastes fantastic. It is the closest to authentic Costa Rican food in Manuel Antonio. They don't speak any English but are friendly and willing to listen to us mangle Spanish!!! Highly recommended.
