Dined as part of a large group. Very impressed that we were all served at more or less the same time. Food was excellent. Waiting staff efficient and friendly.

Ideally located on the small square Jospers offers outdoor seating so you can watch the world go by. Staff were very slow. I could have had a few more glasses of wine if only they had stopped by our table. Menu is a little strange where you select your main and then pay extra for accompaniments. I ordered steak and wanted fries but only sweet potato fries were offered. Otherwise the choice was root vegetable crisps - curious. So with bad service and a not so forthright menu I was not sure about the food. But the only thing working well here is the kitchen. The food was well presented and delicious. Cudos to the chef - but some time training staff would improve the experience.

Escama is Tapas with a great atmosphere. It was recommended by a Spanish friend and didnât disappoint. It isnât very big with a narrow and cozy bar and high tables area in front and more seating in the back. Outside seating looks like it would be fun in the warmer months although there were people enjoying a pit fire on a cold and rainy evening. I sat at the bar where you get a front row seat to the open kitchen and can watch the chefs work their magic. The menu has a nice variety of meat, fish and veggie Tapas. I wanted to try a couple of the smaller plates so I ordered the Octopus (Pulpo a la Parrilla)& egg/sausage (Chistorra con Papas y Huevos) Tapas. The Octopus was good. Grilled just right with oil & seasonings but was not as flavorful as other Octopus dishes Iâve had. The Chistorra - egg poached perfectly & the salty/slightly spicy sausages over a bed of the patatas were excellent! I enjoyed this dish the most. Paired with a San Miguel.Visited Friday night so it was loud, upbeat and fun. Service was prompt and friendly. A great vibe & place for date night, groups or for light fare and drinks.
