Possibly the best lunch weâve had on the island in 14 years. This is the sister restaurant of Ses Forquilles in Mahón, though while the other is more in tapas bar style (with a small dining section above), this one is all restaurant (though it has a nice lounge area for drinks). The view is fantastic, situated in the old site of the Marivent Restaurant. The food is modern Spanish but simply done. The fish and chips is very original, yet recognisable. The mussels were absolutely divine - I would have it again and again. The kids were well accommodated and the service was impeccable. It was busy, so book early. Robert, thank you very much for your visit! We are happy that you would like our restaurant

Iâm hating to give this place 3 stars because the food was excellent. I was charged a 2% foreign transaction fee without even asking what currency I wanted to pay in. The restaurant manager was apologetic but said that was the restaurant policy.Overall I donât think the service matches the price youâre paying for food - which is a shame as the food was very good indeed.

So pleased for trip advisor reviews of this cafe while visiting Mahon, as the wind picked up and everywhere closed down their shutters we got the last table available in this tiny rustic cafe. The plastic menus,of which there are many seems a bit tacky but once read &decided what we wanted we quickly forgot this.It was buzzy with locals and very cosy, we ordered a couple of drinks &decided to have a few tapas, we were delighted with our choice, all tasty & plentiful. The bill was â¬24 for 4 drinks & 4 tapas, good value in our opinion.Itâs off the main area but worth a detour

The location is lovely, right at the harbour, with seating outside, which is a great plus. We had drinks and some appetisers. These were mostly good (mushroom croquettes and shrimps with chickpeas), but the jamon tasted like mould! At first I thought i was imagining it, but then my partner noticed as well so we sent half the plate back. This was unpleasant enough, but even worse surprise came when the bill came and they actually charged us for the dish!

This restaurant is tucked away, turn first right after you enter the Es Castell road that runs parallel with the harbour. The entrance is through a large blue double gate, as you walk in you feel like you are entering another world. The restaurant is designed around what was a swimming pool and there is a small Menorcan fishing boat tied in the middle all this giving an air of tranquility you would not expect. The lunchtime 3 course menu has delicious Menorcan style food choices and includes a drink (wine, beer, soft drinks or water) for a very reasonable 13 Euros.Once you have tried the menu, you will return. The waiters and waitresses are delightful.

We had lunch there,or even better âhalf lunchâ as lobster never arrived .After 1h and 30min we realised that we are waiting for something that will never arrive .Fish that we ordered for kids was enough for 1 and not for 3 .In general, disappointment Lo sentimos mucho, muchas Gracias

We were staying out of Mahon and near the airport and Es Moli De Foc was one of the nearest restaurants. The reviews were good so we booked a table. So glad we did!! This is a very special restaurant. It was relaxed but we were made to feel special as soon as we entered. The menu was exciting and it was difficult to choose. We had the foie gras and the mussels grilled with breadcrumbs. For the main course we had suckling pig and shoulder of lamb. All were excellent but the lamb stole the show. The atmosphere was lovely and service excellent. Wines were reasonable.

Very pleasant large tapas (4 dishes between 2} which were tasty, as well as unusual. Dishes were served one at a time with a small overlap. Hot as appropriate. Friendly and cheerful staff. Frequented by many locals. Pity about the outside seating being on a busy junction with a bus stop. Courgettes carpaccio with caramelised mango dressing with rocket and cashews with parmesan was particularly interesting. Good chocolate fondant with ice cream!

We were spoilt with this dish 2 years ago when Max had Acuario restaurant in Na Macaret - lobster, eggs & chips!! Just as good as we remember.

New restaurant, bar and lounge in Menorca that offers Mediterranean food with a French touch. Come for a drink, tapas, or dinner and enjoy our beautiful gardens. We host a number of events, including live music every wednesday from 9pm in the gardens of t
Came here a couple of nights ago for dinner and enjoyed casually live music and a flamenco show set up for the guests.Location is very nice, some atmosphere is definitely on, with an enjoyable garden with some tables scattered and some under a terrace.Food is pleasant, nothing too traditional, something kind of fusion as the chef is French, I believe. The dessert is definitely its top choice, in our opinion.Service is absolutely terrible: the host, or whatever the snobbish blond lady at the entrance is, was inattentive at the least and very careless about incoming guests, they canceled our order by mistake and there were biblical timings between the dishes.People who started dining around 20.30 were still having dessert at 23.30. If you are no short of time, may be a good choice to occupy an evening - just make sure there is some entertainment on that particular night.
