We have come here for 15 years or so and I have previously left a 5* review saying how wonderful and authentic this finca is however I must, sadly, retract all previous words said. The location is idyllic, there is no disputing that, and the food is good, especially if you have the T-bone. But this is no longer adequate to be worth a visit. We have stayed at the Marriott Son Antem for the same period of time and, as part of a deal, we get a free glass of cava as well as a glass of the local spirit at the end of the evening - which is for all patrons. This time however this was not the case. We got less than a half full glass of what is a pretty cheap cava and then, come the end of our long meal, we were refused the spirit as we had had the cava at the start despite the fact that the spirit was available for all guests not just those from te Marriot. Now this may sound petty or insignificant but for us, who have come here since it was in its infancy, it was disgustingly disappointing that they would be so petty to do this as well as the waiter being bluntly rude when I asked if we would get the shot.Lastly the service has never been speedy but you donât normally mind in this setting as you want to soak up the atmosphere. This time however we were treated as if we werenât even sitting there. Twice I had to get up to ask for service. No waiter came to see us for at least 15 minutes and then the bread and olives took a further 20 minutes to come. The starters then arrived before the waiters had cleared our plates from the bread and finally the sorbet one of us had for desert took 30 minutes, if not longer... for sorbet?! The bill then took the same and I had to ask for them to actually come over and take our money, ridiculous in a place that costs at least â¬50 a head, and much further upwards. In short a luxury finca gone to sh*t and so upset tingly so as this has been a long term favourite of ours, perhaps never to be returned to.

Weâve been Marriott Club members for over 8 years and visit the Finca Restaurant onsite every year. But Iâm sorry to say the only good thing about it now is the convenience of walking there of an evening. Originally we would visit 3-4 times in a holiday but gradually weâve been going less and less. This year service wasnât slow but too quick, we were rushed out once we decided not to order wine, bread or starters. It was almost as if the waiters wanted our table for better customers. The pizzas my children ordered were far too thin and super crispy to the point of crunchie. Theyâre teens and they struggled with their lovely young teeth! Myself and husband ordered The spaghetti Fruti Di Maré â¬16 each. Reasonably priced but seafood wasnât fresh and very chewy. Portion size on the small side.We were charged â¬85 for a very mediocre meal. Such a shame as it had a lot going for it years ago. Probably the last time weâll visit. Thereâs many more local restaurants that offer better food for the same price.

Thursday night is tapas night. Full of locals. Choose your tapas from the menu, all 1.25 Euros. Must reserve your table. Wine menu is limited but the local beer is good. Eat like the locals.

As a newcomer to the busy Plaza Espanya in Llucmayor they had to fill big shoes! The restaurant offers wide choices for lunch and dinner.Pleasant seating out in the plaza when the sun is shining! But, when we reserved for dinner, the place was already very busy. The service was in over their head, the owner serving herself with no help. Thus, unfriendly reception, long wait to get a menu even.Longer even to get a drink of cheap wine.Wine menu not worth mentioning, really poor!Food: tapas: crocettas de gambas: prefab potatoe mash with hardly any trace of gamba and tasteless-but well fried!Pattas bravas well fried but sauce appeared to be prefab.Gambas in tempura with curried sauce : take a whole Gama with its shell, dip into batter and add prefab curry sauce...Half decent buttifaron but prefab mustard cream. In comparison to other restaurants in the square not worth another visit!

The new serving team at Caliuet mKes a difference this season. The pintxos have always been good and still are, no other place in Llucmajor offers this!Menu is good meat cooked very nicely and of good quality.Very good selection of wines with a wide choice of high quality wines from mainland Spain - try Costes del Segre.

Tomates Verdes Restaurant & more located in the square "Plaza" of LLucmajor & near to the Town Hall, offers Mediterranean food in a warm and friendly atmosphere, with quality products in their dishes at a reasonable price. Enjoy indoor or our terrace, " A
Family meal with my wife and 4 children. Staying at the Marriott so this is an easy 10 minutes away. Lots of choice in the square at Llucmajor but a lot is distinctly touristy. Not so here. A genuinely pleasant experience with freshly prepared, interesting dishes from an encouragingly limited menu - always a worry if there is a vast choice. Staff were friendly and attentive without being intrusive. Booking essential.

We always eat multiple times here during our holiday: the food is great (and not just the tapas, the main dishes are so good) and the owners are just the loveliest people. They really make a point of welcoming you and enquire about your needs all the time. The location is great as well: on the town square meaning you get the enjoy the hustle and bustle of both visitors as well as locals.Until next year Luis and Claudia! :-)Dear sevi7777777,so great to hear from you and that you mention that you feel welcome when visiting us.Take care and see you 2020.Thank you,Claudia & Luis

CONTRABANDO, a tapas bar-restaurant with a strong majorcan identity. Selection of wines from Majorca and from the rest of Spain. Tapas and dishes made with local products.
It was one of our best meals in Mallorca, we came by 2 days in a row. The food is fresh and authentic, the service was good and present.I would recommend it all, but if I have to name one, it will be the avocado and tuna. it was so good

Went for lunch so we could appreciate the Mediterranean views. Amazing bar with tempting cocktails. We started with delicious tapas. Gamba, pulpo and local cheeses. Then the main event are the savoury crepes........incredible. Although so full up we finished with a lemon crepe for dessert and it was magnificent. The terrace furniture is comfy and relaxing. This is certainly the best restaurant in this area. Highly recommend.Hi and Thanks for taking the time to write this comment. Iâm happy to hear that youâve enjoyed your time with us. If our clients are happy, we are happy, thank you for putting a smile on our faces this morning with your positive feedback! I hope that youâll come again soon. Caroline and the Ar bigouden Team
