We had high expectations of this restaurant after reading good reviews. Indeed, the food seemed quite good, and the restaurant was very busy. The service was good, the waiter polite, and the food tasted good. However, a couple of hours after the meal, within minutes of each other, we were both quite unwell, taking turns for the bathroom. This went on for a couple of hours. The only thing we both had that was the same thing was the tuna and it's sauce. I also thought that the bill was quite high for what we had.

It can be difficult to find free tables at the many restaurants along this section of the Herault in July and August. Most restaurants insist on reservations. However, Les Zoulous does not. This means that you will not be turned away: they will always try to accommodate you, even though you may have to wait. The serving staff are very pleasant. The food can vary between excellent and reasonable, but the overall experience is always good. I ate there last week, and the moules mariniere were wonderful, but in April, they were just 'OK'. The salads seem expensive but are very good and the big one is huge: the small size is usually enough. The house wine is cheap and cheerful: i.e. good value.

We found the service here to be very friendly and efficient. Exemplary in fact and whilst not hurried in any way it was swifter than other restaurants and people knew what they were doing. The fish is particularly good here, the freshest possible grilled Tuna, and the steaks were cooked as they should be. A Chocolate Mousse to write home about. Much the best of all the restaurants we tried in Cap Dagde over our week. Thank you.

Nice tapas in a not particularly atmospheric restaurant. Reasonably good value. We had read the reviews of the paella being excellent. Perhaps it is not when ours arrived it clearly had been sitting under hear for a while and was overlooked. Staff a bit rushed and not really that friendly. Sangria was very tasty.

Starter and the ice cream were nice, the main courses were awful. Avoid the fajitas and noodles. Our teenage children had burgers and they were great. We came here after reading trip advisor reviews, this was the priciest meal of out holiday and the most disappointing.

This unassuming bistro is becoming a family favorite. From the warm welcome, to the simple but perfectly executed menu, this place hits all the buttons. Highly recommended is the blackened angus (well selected cut, fried with just the right amount of pepper) the kids tell me the chicken kebab is also good. One word of caution, if you turn up expecting a 'typical' restaurant you may be bemused by Bistrologue's appearance; just remember it's a seaside bistro, not a Paris restaurant. But the food is great. This place is popular, So booking will be essential during peak season.
