Stopped here after monster day long hike up 2000 ft to Mirador de Abrante. Attractive building on lovely cobbled street with freshly kept tables and chairs outside and plenty of locals in the bar. Friendly attentive owner served large beers, olives, bread, ham and cheese. Felt 100% better and toddled back to the hotel for a kip.

A restaurant set next to the road, which due to its location I would normally have dismissed however the meal really was delicious with a menu containing local specialities and the service of equal quality..... a little jewel on such a stunning island. One can retire after to the bar on the roof terrace if an added nightcap is required.

Super tasty traditional Canarian food. Very good value. Breakfast, lunch and dinner.
What a nice find. Thanks to the previous two reviews, gave this place a try on our last night in Hermigua having been generally underwhelmed by the other options. We were greeted with a friendly smile, and very patient help with our rusty and basic Spanish. The food choice (especially as a vegetarian) was limited, but enough - and everything was clearly explained. And.. the food was really rather good. Simple, but fresh, hot and tasty. Fantastic! The ambience was great, it's a small bar with restaurant/cafe tables, modern and fresh, but intimate. The locals who popped in and out took the time to say hola, which added to the friendly atmosphere. A nice finish to our visit to La Gomera, we only wish we had found this place earlier!

A nice place for eat, drink and have a good time. We have salads, meat, fish, vegetables, ice creams and grilled chicken take away.
Great bistro food, friendly staff and cool art! I had a chicken sandwich, served with some of the best French fries on the island. My husband had red peepers filled with cod and was quite content. The menu is quite extensive and includes both sandwiches and gomeran dishes. The coffee was better than in many places and I can't wait to visit again for a chocolate cake and some coffee. Free WiFi.

This is a very friendly place, Pedro and Carmen became friends after just one visit. We ate here 2 / 3 times over our stay, enjoyed tapas, local beer and wine, sardines after a long days walking. The view alone is worth the visit and the company was excellent. We joined a Cuban music evening which was really enjoyable. We'll be back.

This small restaurant in the North of La Gomera has a spectacular setting overhanging the cliff face with a section with a glass floor to see the views. Beautiful views of Mount Teide in the distance complete the perfect position. The food is simple and well presented, salads, steaks, spicy pork etc. The waiters will also happily demonstrate the Gomeran communication by whistling invented for long distances and still taught in schools. If you are visiting Gomera from Tenerife for the day, make sure this is on the itinerary!

The first day of its season and we discovered this pretty, German-owned fish restaurantat the end of the Hermigua valley and above the roaring Santa Catarina beach. Tremendous Sea Bass. Booked on leaving for the next day and a sun burst of a paella beautifully presented.

Canario , Mediterráneo y tradicional con productos de las islas y a ser posibles gomeros de temporada
We had an excellent meal here, among others a wonderful steamed octopus. Desserts definitely deserve a mention - especially the specialty of the house. One star less is only due to the fact that the waiter (or an owner?) told one client to go outside and clean her shoes. It is a fact that her shoes were a bit muddy, looking like after a hike, but I didnât find it too polite.

We were disappointed because compared to the price not quite cheap for the island's targhet, we found the fish not good. We found the fish tasteless. It looked like it was old and heated.Only positive notes the friendliness of the staff and the wine list. A little 'to be a restaurant that is at the top of the island.Hi Jon A,We regret that the food has not been to your liking and we would like you to have told our staff to offer them some alternative.Greetings,
