Return to the origins and bringing back the flavours of the past. This is the concept that the awarded chef MartÃn Berasategui wants for his brand new restaurant, Txoko, whose culinary experience is based in the traditional Spanish gastronomy, but in sear
We had half board at the hotel and chose to come here our first evening - after doing the round of all the other restaurants we loved the menu so much we came back for our final night. You can sit outside which is nice - no particular view but its just pleasant to sit outside. The menu is great - meat and fish dishes to chose from. We had oysters, fried squid, octopus salad and a âfish boxâ for starters (over both our visits!) and for mains lamb, veal cheeks, monkfish. The desserts were also excellent - the best being the almond soufflé! The staff were excellent - in particular Thelma who remembered us (as did a lot of people) from our first visit but who also reserved a soufflé for us as we missed out the first time.Really good wine list.Canât wait to return again!

Had lunch here. Very nice atmosphere. Attentive staff. Off the beaten track so very Spanish. They must cook all the meats over olive wood or something similar as the flavour is on all the meats. Try the black sausage. It's fantastic. Lamb chops very good and the fillets, which they seem to call sirloin are excellent but you will only enjoy if you like the distinct smokey flavour. I recommend a shared sausage and shared steak with potatas pobre if there is only two of you at lunch. We took some home.

With incredible views of the sea in the area of Alcalá, is a restaurant with signature cuisine, focused on the local product of the coasts of the Canary Islands. We make a new and delicious interpretation of traditional Canarian dishes.

We come to the GM Hotel a couple of times a year and just Love Dining in El Ricon. Jose is excellent. The dishes tried (and recommended) are Padron Peppers, Mixed Croquettes, Pesto Pasta, Avocado & Prawn Salad, escalope of Chicken in a Mushroom Sauce with the best local double cooked chips, Hamburger & peppercorn Sauce. All dishes are cooked to order and taste superb. Great value for money Dining. Do not judge a book by its cover.

Like some others, we stumbled across Casa Edu whilst having a drive around the area. Fortunately, we found it early on in our two week stay in Guia de Isora, so were able to visit on a few occasions!Magnificent food, very reasonably priced and regularly full of locals, which can only be a good sign! A nice selection of starters, mains and desserts served by friendly, helpful staff. Just make sure you go with a healthy appetite! No hesitation in recommending Casa Edu and well worth the short car or taxi journey out of town. Esperamos verle nuevamenteAtentamente.Casa Edu

A small friendly bistro style restaurant near the seafront. Mature waiters with long black aprons both friendly and professional. We had a tapas selection + croquetas, all good. My main was pork fillet in filo, which was very good, although outshone by my wifeâs cod confit. Probably the best cooked fish either of us have ever had. With 2 glasses white and a bottle of local red we also had coffee and 2 Carlos1 brandy for under 75 euros. Just to see the brandy glass warming process was worth the cost of the brandy. If we lived here would probably visit at least weekly.

If you like seafood, and no frills, this is one of the best places ever. There is no menu, but a selection of the freshest seafood you can get anywhere. This is not a fancy place, but the food is absolutely amazing, without being complicated. Wholeheartedly recommended!!

You will discover our work done with products of a good quality guaranteeing a pleasant result of a fusion between Spanish and French food.
A real gem owned by a wife and husband (chef) team along the sea. The small restaurant serves wonderfully prepared food that is sourced locally. The preparation and presentation is 5 star as are the owners. Had a reunion with friends for dinner and the food was some of the best French cuisine ever.We thank you for your visit and are honored by this wonderful moment of sharing. We look forward to seeing you.Pascal and Marina

We were staying at the hotel (Corales Beach) and had for lunch the tuna poke bowls made by the Maresia kitchen. They were FAB! sushi grade tuna and flavourful couscous with a hint of soy and Avocado. Delicious!
