Reviews on Spanish food in Esquel, Province of Chubut, Argentina. Esquel is a town in the northwest of Chubut Province in Argentine Patagonia. It is located in Futaleufú Department, of which it is the government seat. The town's name derives from one of two Tehuelche words. One meaning "marsh" and the other meaning "land of burrs", which refers to the many thorny plants including the pimpinella and other herbaceous plants whose fruits, when ripe turn into prickly burrs that stick to the animals' skins and wool or people's clothes as a way of propagation.

Comida espaÃ±ola/vasca muy bien preparada. El servicio de la dueÃ±a es amable y cÃ¡lido. Nos hizo buenas recomendaciones para conocer en Esquel. Muy sabrosas vieiras gratinadas. Deliciosa carrillera. Paella âmar y tierraâ en su punto. El Ãºnico pero es que no tienen buena oferta de vinos Â¡en un restaurante espaÃ±ol en Argentina!

Really loved the atmosphere, the choice of wines, and the service. The food was also good with abundant portions - pizza and hamburger and pasta to be recommended, but didn't try anything more complicated.Also rather expensive, but everything in Esquel is expensive.
