We were in a hurry to find a place to have dinner and the Moli dels Alvis had a table left for us and our 2 kids. No child menu was offered besides the usual French Fries plate. The drinks were served in bottles of 200ml...why in the world do they serve lilliput bottles in the land of thirst? The atmosphere was ok and the welcome was warm which makes up for the first impression's shortcomings. The dishes (seafood and grilled fish) tasted fresh and ok but the amount of food served felt so scarce. I took a course of several dishes and I'm sorry to say I was still hungry when I left. Plus waiting time was without an end to it, or so it genuinely felt. I tipped the waiter for the comparatively nice welcome, but I definitely do not recommend the place for adults with kids who don't drink liquor.

The restaurant Censals, has over thirty years of tradition and experience. Opened on December 1, 1980, the small family business has been progressing until it is today. Rooms are available to wedding banquets and business dinners and other celebrations th
Familiar treatment, easy to park the car, small childs zone.Typical perello food, great oil, and sea products. We recomend the "allioli" typical sauce with perello oil, and rices, also the meat made in real grill is so good.Thank you very much for your comment and recommendation. We hope you are just as or more satisfied in upcoming occasions.

We had dinner here, two adults and a 4yo boy. We had 1 Entree and 2 Main courses, 1 ration de croquetas, a bottle of white wine, water and coffee. The food was quite good and well presented. The entrée (three scallops) was excellent but rather small given its price. The fish was very good, the filet was ordered ârareâ (âpoco hechoâ) but came âmediumâ (âa puntoâ), unfortunately. The products were all fresh and of fine quality. The service here was very friendly. The negative points were that the âamuse boucheâ just came for two persons, the child was âleft unservedâ. And when we got the bill we learnt that the bread was charged for each person as well. Well, we paid over 130 EUR , which we felt was too much for the value and the location.

Every year for the past three years we have spent our holiday near L'Ametlla and eaten out a lot. Last week we treated ourselves to dinner at a Michelin-starred restaurant in Cambrils which was lovely but Balco de L'Estany wins hands down. The location is stunning on a headland overlooking the sea and is wonderfully secluded - you feel like you've stumbled upon the region's best kept secret. The food was sublime. We had mussels and the local dish, fideua, both cooked to perfection with minimal fuss. The proprietor was very warm and welcoming too. The highlight of our holiday this year.

We stumbled upon this restaurant on our first night in Spain. The owner spoke no English but really tried to help us with our limited Spanish. It seems as if the owner is waiting the tables and his wife is cooking the meals. My calamaris and salad was very tasty and the steak was also great, I would not recommend the fish gougons, they were too floury.
From the Basque Country. Fresh fish, meat, vegetables and made home deserts.
Local café resto.Delicious, freshly prepared food and friendly service.Catalan and Basque dishes, good local wine.

We were fortunate enough to go in here for a drink just before the evening rush: so were able to get a table to eat, once we found out how attractive it is.Very much a local bar/restaurant. Tasty and copious local food, friendly staff and good prices. Very crowded for Saturday supper, and deservedly so.Highly recommended.

We stopped in this restaurant without having any reference. And of course, apparently the restaurant just opened a week ago. The restaurant has a very nice terrace and have a big barbacue from which I'm sure they will have very good results. We had the idea to have a salad and short-noodles paella, but they also offer shellfish, rice paella and bbq meat. The salad was very good as well as the noodles, not one of the best in my life (I'm tough) but above average. It is family owned and we could see that they were very enthusiastic as it was the first week, so they were very nice and paying attention. Hope they can keep it like this always. We had a very good service, but from outside point of view we think they could be better organized (sure they will in the coming weeks). Sometimes can seem easy to run a restaurant but it's not. We saw them with a lot of energy and hope they don't lose it. But, there are some details that they should know about restaurants and I would recommend them to have a quick lesson of basic things such as how the cutlery goes on the table, how to take 3 full dishes with 2 hands or how to take as many empty dishes as possible (they would save walking trips to kitchen), and also protocol details such as to open bottle wines in front of customer.Best of luck! I hope they improve all this little things next time I visit them.

We Have Travelled The World, And This Is One Of The Most Exciting Restaurants We Have Visited. The Cuisine Is Unbeleivable And The Rustic Setting Is Perfect - It Is Hard To Find However So A Well Guarded Secret.
We had not been because of problems with gut...now on sugar and carb free diet so fine. The food at Mas is extraordinary, especially the pica pica. Amazingly wonderful dishes. I gather the selection of puddings were amazing too. Loved gazpacho with strawberry; mushroom croquettes; âcanneloniâ Of aubergine, carpacchio of pulpy. I could go on. Stunning scenery, great service, organic wines. Simply the best food and experience. We will be back. Probably the most expensive restaurant around, but so very special
