Very nice Restaurant in the Durcal Main street, just down from a very pretty Park. Asedero Palacio is a spit roast Chicken specialty Restaurant, with a large rotisserie display at the rear of the premises. We called in for morning coffee and note they also do chocolate and 'churros' traditional Spanish breakfast. We were there mid-morning and all the chickens were on the spit being cooked. Very nice display. Obviously being freshly cooked for lunch time but not ready just yet!!We were most impressed by the cleanliness of the place and the restaurant is very new and nice. On the bar were vases of fresh flowers and the lady serving was very friendly and efficient. Please see photographs attached. We will return for lunch.

Unlike several other restaurants in Durcal, this appears to be open every day and the food is really good. Dinner for 2 with wine cost approx â¬40, but the portions are so huge you could easily get away with one plate between two. The black pudding was particularly good

Found on the old road out of Durcal, heading towards Granada, this really does produce some excellent food.We booked for Sunday lunch, just as well as all the outside tables were full, and continued to be so throughout the afternoon. We tried the tempura langoustine with tempura vegetables, perfect batter, this is a chef who knows what he is doing! Also the grilled monk fish on skewers came with a silky garlic butter sauce, and a Moroccan influenced salad - all great, and generous portions, as was the tapas we had with our stater drinks.Try the baked cheese cake, to die for!And if you are on a budget, or very hungry, go for one of their burgers, it would easily feed a family. If you are in the area, go - bare in mind that it is closed Monday and Tuesday.

My partner and I discovered this fantastic gem today thanks to Tripadvisor. We made a reservation in the morning, went for a walk on the Alpujarra and came down to Conchar to enjoy an incredible meal. With help from the service we decided for the amazingly fresh and savory tomatoes with a really good olive oil, then croquettes and pumpkin to complete the starters. All of them prepared with the best raw material. After this we knew this could only end better, and so it did.Our main dish was ordered at the time of reservation: rice with chicken and rabbit. What we found was a great looking broth rice with chicken, rabbit, artichokes and peppers on a really big pan. We had two rations each, and we could have had at least two more, but we had to stop to leave room for the desserts. We really enjoyed the taste of the rice. For dessert we had curd with some coffee. The curd was amazing, I would come back only for this, but there are so many reasons more, that I'll come back for sure soon enough. After such a pleasant lunch the last thing I was expecting was to be charged so little! around 15⬠each! I could have lunch here every day!Thank you very much to the staff, and we'll see you soon!

Fantastic find - very rustic and very friendly. We stopped by for a drink and to check out the menu for dinner later and we were automatically saved a small plate of delicious grilled fish.Staff were extremely friendly and helpful despite our lack of Spanish and their little English.Returned that evening for a fab meal under the trees - atmosphere was buzzing with locals and the lights in the trees made it feel cosy.Starters of meats and cheeses were excellent. Dishes included grilled pork, grilled steak and cod in aioli. Our daughter's burger was huge and delicious.Really recommend this rural local restaurant if you're in the neighbourhood.

Come to enjoy the wonderful views of the Sierra, whilst savouring our rustic and international dishes as well as our traditional Neapolitan pizzas freshly baked in our wood fired oven.
The only "real" restaurant in the small town of Niguelas but definitely worth a go! Perfect view on the mountains and a friendly staff. We had the grilled vegetables and pizza dough sticks as enty, they were very good. The beef tagliata was perfectly served afterwards, and together with a delicous bottle of local wine we had a perfect night. On saturday night there is also live music!

Why didn't I find this place before???Because it's tucked away on the old Almeria to Granada road north side of Durcal.Idyllic terrace by the river .Restaurant belongs to the hotel.Very pretty setting and a more modern Spanish menu.I chose Artichokes tempora with a garlic dipping sauce and Rollitos de Rabo de toro(oxtail spring rolls)Fantasic. My partner chose the menu del dia. Caesar salad( not what we are used to but fresh and tasty) followed by Cod.We shared everythingAmuse Boucher to start was a "Gazpacho " of beets...Delicious.I'm really looking forward to going back because it truly was a lovely Lunch!!Definitely a notch above other places. It won't disappoint.

Whilst visiting Granada, this restaurant was highly recommended. Approached by an alleyway, away from the town square, the first impression is not great. However, the food changes your mind very quickly. Having eaten fish for lunch the day before, we opted for meat this time and the waitress recommended the pork dishes. The longaniza and morcilla starter was followed by the roast suckling pig. Amazing quality and reasonably priced.First of all thanks for the time that you have dedicated us to write this review. Your criticisms always serve us to improve and to offer an increasingly careful service. In the same way I would like to thank you for your positive evaluation of the work and the effort made by our team.Sincerely,Francisco Puerta

Met friends here for lunch not really expecting very much. Surprisingly the building has some wow factor and the staff were really helpful. More surprising was the willingness to moderate an extensive menu to accommodate some vegetarian dishes. The kitchen is visible and open and the dinning room comfortable if a little sparse. A great place to pass an afternoon with friends. Vineyard tours available and a good range of wine products available to buy. All in all a good day out.
