Food is good customer service suffers in all LA Tapatia locations, if you are on an hour lunch break avoid this place. The leander location is a total joke. The staff is standing around talking to their friends while patrons are walking out because of the wait. My wife and I walked in sat down placed our order and it took 45 minutes to get our cold meal. Wow this place sucks. I recommend Jardins down the street.

These days, everyone makes Tacos al Pastor but that doesn't mean they are authentic and taste good...meaning above the average. If you aren't in Mexico when you read this but rather north Austin then read on. I have been to Taqueria Guadalajara many times but I always get breakfast tacos or tortas. Yesterday, I ordered the Taco al Pastor. The Tacos al Pastor were amazing. It reminded me of the pushcarts in Monterrey, Mexico. It all starts with the roasted pork and the marinade....delicious!!! The tacos come with lime and served with diced onion and cilantro. The salsa verde goes quite well although their other salad are good too.

I grew with a Mexican tradition during the holidays making tamales in my Mama Concha's kitchen with all my cousins and aunts. I know what a goes into a good tamale. My wife and I purchased 3 dozen tamales for our family on Christmas Day. The tamales are unbelievably good. I normally put salsa on tamales but these are good enough the way they are. I did put some salsa on a couple so I could taste the combination. The flavor was even better if that is even possible. The only real surprise was the cost but upon enjoying the flavor I quickly got over that.

My first time visiting. I received great service after sharing this information. I was recommended what to order. I had pork and chicken taquitos dorados. The chicken out does the pork miles. The service and food was good. I will return. This is an upper Mexican restaurant so pricing is higher than most Tex-Mex nearby places.

The Salsa....check. The Guacamole....check. The Molcajete Chilaquiles...priceless. I had the individual size which actually feeds two. The molcajete is large and it is filled with Grilled veggies like bell peppers, onions, tomatoes and mushrooms as well as chicken and beef fajitas. The order comes with 3 tortillas but you will need much more than three. The rice is good but the charro beans are nothing to brag about. My wife had the skillet of beef fajitas for one but it was more than enough for two hungry adults. The service was good and the decor is quite festive. There are a couple of TVs in the bar area if you like to keep up with futbol on one TV and whatever sport is active or live on the other. The price is quite reasonable.

Went for lunch. We ordered queso and it was warm ( not hot). 1/2 lb. of beef fajita is $24.95. The majority of entrees are $11-13. There is plenty of parking. There is a bar area.
