Wooow. This was a nice evening! The food was fresh and original. Great combinations and good portions. We ordered a plate, some pinchos and chicken. They al meet our expectations. We also liked the free water with our wine and the hospital waiters!

we have heard about this place via our local newspaper and by coincidence we where in this city.we where 1 hour before opening as we didn't knew their times but very friendly staff gave us a table in the garden, super nice location in the marienenhof . We let the winechoice guided by our waiter and he had an excellent verdejo also they had a nice choice of jamon .Well worth a visit , also walk around inside in the monestry Hi Rob, So nice to hear you've had a nice time. A much needed addition to the Lieve Vrouwe Plein. Whereas the Hof and the Groenmarkt have already some excellent cafés where I like to hang out, the beautiful Lieve Vrouwe Plein was up till now not quite up the same level. This is why this stadscafé is very much welcomed: it has a nice terrace with heating lamps, beautiful industrial interior, good coffee, magazines and nice staff. You can come here all day, for early morning coffee, lunch, dinner and late-night snacks. Going to be popular!

A nice enough restaurant with a beautiful second floor. There's a hole in the floor, so the second and the ground floor are connected. The entourage is nice, but hasn't changed much for the last decennium or so. A little touch-up isn't a luxury. The food is nice enough and the price-quality is good. But do not expect to eat mind-blowing, exceptional tapas here. Its all safe and good.
