Inmejorable.

I really enjoyed staying at this small family run hotel. The owners really look after you well, for example they let me put my motorbike in their courtyard overnight, the food is good, and the couple who run the place are genuinely welcoming. Recommended

ParaÃso is where local adults go in the evening (local youngsters go to Bar TÃa MarÃa, instead). When we were there it was overcrowded with people, mostly in their fifties and sixties. And with good reasons:- The wine: the serve local wines, from Bodega Arribes (on the road from Aldeadávila to Masueco). They are good, they are different and they are not expensive. We tried a White Malvasia and a Red Juan GarcÃa (a local varietal) and we really liked them.- The tapas: big portions, tasty.- The price: 3 glasses of wine and five tapas, all for seven euros.

Beautiful and interesting old building and pleasant staff. Very poor choice of food and what there was was adequate rather than brilliant. No menu del dia. Ham egg and chips, a glass of wine and single coffee each for two was â¬27.80! I've eaten better in central London for considerably, and I mean considerably, less, with far better quality food. The jamòn portion was miniscule although the chips were at least hot - which is unusual for Spain - and the eggs were done well. Not recommended - there are many alternative restaurants and bars in the village. Thank you so much for you commentary. The first point is that TÃa MarÃa is not a restaurant, is just a bar. The second thing, is not a ham, is Jamón Ibérico, so, is not the same, it has a higher price. The eggs in Spain are not well-done, are different. And our eggs are from our chickens, the same with the potatoes. About the price, the plate is 10â¬, the glass of wine 1,5⬠and the coffe 1,10â¬. Sorry, but we have been in London, and you can not eat a good food for this price. We regret not having satisfied.

We had booked via my Spanish living/speaking cousin for 12 people on a bike tour. We arrived a bit late.. However all I can say is the potato based soup starter and then the lamb stew and crispy nuggets of piglet were dilicious and well worth the journey, I will return this year.. Go out of your way to eat here, you can even book rooms and enjoy the local wine more than we could.. a hidden gem of gastronmic delights..
