YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD RESTAURANT FOR 68 YEARS Let our family serve yours mouth-watering Mexican food & much more. Owned and operated by 4 generations of the Wisdom family. Our family works hard so that yours will enjoy a wonderful meal among friends. Tuesdays
We've been visiting southern Arizona for more than 25 years, and each visit includes a meal at Wisdom's. It's the real deal. It isn't shiny or glitzy, and it will never be mistaken for a chain restaurant, and that's precisely why we go back year after year. The food is authentically prepared in generous portions and served hot.

I try to be generous with reviews, because people operating restaurants are usually trying hard, and the market is tough, but I find the food at Soto's disappointing. I've had much better Mexican food at better prices nearly everywhere I've been. It's edible, but uninspired. Service is adequate, but not particularly attentive or polished. If you're desperate for food, you'll find Soto's to be adequate, but better options are available.

Tubac Jack's, one of the oldest restaurants in Tubac, has an eclectic menu of BBQ, Mexican, and worldwide favorites such as steaks, salmon, salads, burgers, pulled pork and, of course, our world famous green chili stew. Jack's has a huge patio to enjoy th
We took a trip to the Tubac area to golf and spend a few days. I called two weeks in advance to various restaurants to make dinner reservations during our stay, . Based on write ups and recommendations we planned dinner At Tubac Jack's one night. I gave them my cell number as they asked when I made the reservations. On Tuesday night when we showed up for dinner the whole place was CLOSED. There was no note in the window or any explanation. They did not even have the courtesy to give me a call. Never again.

I really like a quesadilla. I have had many at many different Mexican restaurants. The one I had at a recent lunch stop at Dos in Tubac might just have been the best ever. Absolutely delicious! The restaurant was suggested to us by a local merchant and it was a perfect choice.

We stay at the golf resort and spa and this restaurant is on the property so it is so convenient. The food is consistently good and presented very nicely. This time some items on the menu were no longer available so we were disappointed in that aspect. But overall we enjoyed everything. The steak was perfect and the salad great. A nice spot for dinner.Thank you for taking the time to post your experience. We are happy that you enjoyed dinner. Next time you are in, please ask for a manager and let them know your favorites that we have removed from the menu and they can let our Chef know what is greatly missed. We look forward to your next trip to Tubac.

Upscale Mexican restaurant, service ok, atmosphere and decor amazing, food very good but also disappointing. We ordered the Mole Negro....King of the Moles. The chicken was very tender for being such a large portion and the mole was divine. BUT canned refried beans! For $26 I sure didn't expect canned beans. The rice was decent however the salsa was very sour....vinegary. Never served whole tortilla fried chips before..... it was an experience, but I'll not go back for the prices.
