Family own this restaurant was establish more then 18 years ago serving authentic Mexican food.. we are open Sunday-Thursday 11:am to 9:00 pm Friday-Saturday 11:am to 10:00 pm
Dinner on a Sunday. Arrived shortly before 5PM. Parking lot half full. After a short wait seated at a booth. Drink orders taken promptly. Warm chips and salsa were delivered to the table. Drinks arrived and orders taken. One ordered the fish tacos and another ordered the Carne Asada. Food delivered in reasonable time. Large portions. The fish tacos were nicely done with a side of avocado and shredded lettuce. The carne asada was cooked as requested. The meat filled half the plate and the other half had refried beans and rice. Served with a side of shredded lettuce/guacamole and three warm tortillas. Excellent staff. Checked on meals and refilled drinks as needed. Restaurant was clean with an inviting decor. Excellent meal at reasonable price.

This restaurant has been here for along time. The last time we visited we were served cold food. The chicken tenders were cold and tough and I didn't even bother to try and eat them.We rarely eat here anymore because the service and food quality has been steadily declining.Hey, we appreciate you letting us know what you've experienced here, and we're sorry that we let you down. We really dropped the ball, and your feedback is helping us to improve at this location, so thank you. Please call us at 1-800-983-4637 so we can make this right. Thanks!

First, I have to comment on the interior decor. The tables and chairs are all hand carved and painted Mexican motifs the likes of which I have never seen before. Absolutely unique and beautiful - I hated to sit on it. To these they added some traditional Mexican fiesta materials which added still more to the ambiance, but those tables and chairs are just phenomenal.OK... so let's talk food. That's what we come for, after all. As nice as the decor is, it wouldn't matter if the food was crummy. In fact, I worried that all the effort was put into the decorations, and the food might be horrible. BUT NO! The food is ALSO outstanding!!Really flavorful, really authentic, and a huge menu from which to choose. The standard dishes are not so hot that non-Mexicans will suffer, but I'm sure you can ask to raise the heat level if you wish. For me, they were perfect. And what was especially impressive is the freshness of taste. You know how Mexican food can sometime taste "stale" because if includes a lot of ground and shredded meat? Do that too far ahead, and it all tastes like something scraped out of a garbage pail. Well, NOT HERE. The fresh tastes Garcia puts on the plate is just amazing.Prices are very reasonable, and portions are large. I'm sure we over-ordered because it tasted so good, with the result that we had several boxes of leftover to carry home.Serivce was fine, too. really, there is just nothing to complain about. This is most definitely the best Mexican restaurant for many miles around. In my opinion, second best is way over in Tallahassee.
Decided on something easy breezy for dinner. So we went on 'The Net' downloaded a coupon and off we headed to the restaurant. A 5:30 on a Friday night it wasn't crowded but had a steady stream of customers. Food was well prepared with no surprises. The chips were fresh and tasty. The music playing overhead was a bit loud but you could still hear each other speak. Finally, the free burrito from the coupon is being consumed for lunch as I type review this next day.... Like a little bonus...Overall, a good experience.

My wife and I ate here on a Wednesday afternoon at about 5:00 PM. The restaurant was just beginning to fill and we were seated immediately, given chips, salsa and drinks. My wife likes a Margareta before her meal but Mi Mexico serves only a wine Margareta -- drinkable but not really to her liking. We both ordered quesadillas and they were tasty but no rice or refried beans. We left feeling a little hungry. The restaurant is a little worn but clean and the staff attentive.
