Authentic Mexican restaurant, despite the video poker games emblematic of Sin City.
Went to this restaurant early afternoon and sat at the bar. Great selection of tequilas and very friendly bartender. Food was delicious and what was surprising about the meal is that it came with sopa de fideos...which i've never had offered at a restaurant as complimentary food item before. Will definitely return to this place for the food and and ambiance.

Located in Carson Tower at the Golden Nugget, Las Vegas, with a great view of the award-winning H2O Pool featuring The Tank. Numerous high definition flat screen TVs adorn the walls of the location, showcasing live games and sporting events throughout the
Took a taxi down from the strip to Fremont Street to experience the Las Vegas of yesteryear. We started our evening with dinner at this establishment. It certainly is the smartest of places, being a typical bar area, serving food with the usually side of sports TV channels! We only ordered a serving of fries with two dipping sauces and a sizzling chicken Fajita. The food was ok, but nothing special. Again service was just about ok, our order taken, food delivered and nobody returned to see if everything was ok or if we wanted further drinks. Wouldnât re-visit as it was not for us.

I changed my review from 1 stars to 3 stars after Dolores the manager brought us back in for another try, despite there being additional âmiscommunicationâ. Extremely overpriced. For $25 plate you might as well go enjoy a âfinerâ dining experience on the strip. The service, food and atmosphere do not match the prices, I donât care if itâs Las Vegas. Despite the place being empty (see photo) we were seated by the door and service was extremely slow... not sure why? But canât say the staff wasnât trying. Sopeâs were hard, if you want good Sopeâs try the place inside Fantastik off Valley View. Fish taco and rice was bland and for $16.50 for two street tacos itâs a little outrageous. Highlights were the NACHOS and the FLAN. Happy hour special $10 shot w/beer. Plenty of parking. Itâs literally next door to Sapphires Strip Club which must be the majority of the reviews, clientele and handful of B celebrities whoâve stumbled in. Table of 3 people: Order of Sopes, Nachos, Fish Tacos, Flan and corn = $75 +tip .... take that same $75 to the taco truck and do the math.

Established in 2014. Tacos & Beer is a hip and fun restaurant with a lounge feel. The decor of the 3,300 square foot restaurant is casual and funky. Artisanal tacos and craft beer. Fresh mexican food like beef barbacoa, roast pork al pastor, skirt steak c
Order: Queso Modela & 3 Tacos (Beer Battered Avocado, Grilled Pineapple and Black Beans, & Pastor)Price: $20Positives: Good tacos with some unique options (fried avocado, jackfruit, grilled pineapple), crazy good queso, lots of beer if thatâs your thing, very good outdoor seatingNegatives: The tacos didnât really jump out as amazing, just goodtldr: Tacoâs and beer seems like a great place to hang out with friends, drink some beer, crush some queso and eat good tacos. The key here, I think, is the hanging out with friends and beer part; while the queso was definitely amazing the tacos werenât the best we had in Vegas.Thoughts: Stop number five on the eat and drink all the things tour in Vegas. It was fairly late at night, at least for us, as we had spent the evening visiting some friends at their house. We decided we wanted something to eat, but nothing crazy heavy, and really wanted it to be a quick in and out. Since I think itâs impossible to eat too many tacos we decided to go get tacos for the second time on our first full day in Vegas. Tacos and Beer wasnât far away so we decided to swing in and give them a shot, especially since they were still open. Itâs definitely more of a restaurant then your standard taco shop and there were a lot of people there drinking and hanging out. Make sense because you know, beer is in the name. We sat down in their cool outdoor seating area and quickly perused the menu. We settled on sharing three tacos and their Queso Modelo after some opinions from our server. It didnât take long for the food to come out and we dug in. The tacos were all very good, but if Iâm being honest the place we went earlier in the day was noticeably better. The fried avocado was good but was just fried avocado, the pastor was good but not quite as flavorful and juicy as some of my favorite taco places, the only real exception was the pineapple taco. The pineapple taco was made with small chunks of pineapple that were grilled and then tossed into the taco almost like chunks of meat. I donât know that it would be a favorite taco of mine, but it was very delicious and was a sweet, cool, refreshing taco versus the standard tacos filled with meat. The real winner here was the Queso Modelo! Imagine your standard queso but with a special sauce and ground beef added in! It was killer. Absolutely something I would come back to Tacos and Bear for. It actually got me wondering whether the thing to get here Is there appetizers instead of their entrées. Regardless it was a pretty good choice for a late night. And it might be something I come back to if I was in the area. I think there are better tacos around but still overall a really good place. And itâs worth pointing out that they staff was very friendly and very helpful, and you could get in and out pretty quickly. Overall a good place to grab some tacos and queso.
