We stopped here for dinner and were richly rewarded. Everything was great. I had the chicken fajitas with rice, refried beans, fresh flour tortillas, salsa and guacamole. Wow, what a meal! The flour tortillas are wonderful. The fajitas feature large pieces of breast meat mixed with grilled onions and peppers. Thanks for the great review! Have eaten here before food was decent, but service has been lacking. This time we walked in and waited about 5 minutes to be seated, not sure why, the restaurant wasn't very busy. After I finally got someone's attention and asked to be seated, we had to wait for them to bring menus because they forgot. They finally brought chips and salsa and menus then vanished. After about 15 minutes of being ignored we got up to leave. I told the guy who seated us we were leaving because no one had come by to take our order and he just looked at me blankly.

Prairie House is a solid restaurant serving reasonably good food. Every thing we tried was enjoyable. The table favorite was the Banditos. The jalapeno wrapped in chicken then wrapped in bacon had outstanding flavors. On the flip side, the burnt ends were dry and over cooked. They were okay, but I would not order them again. The brisket queso was nice. The fried mushrooms and cheese were nicely done, but nothing special. I really appreciated that they had craft beers on the menu. The restaurant itself is very large with lots of seating in the bar and two side rooms. The decor feels a bit like a rustic lodge. Saltgrass and Texas Roadhouse come to mind.Service was nicely done. Everyone we interacted with was pleasant and informative. When orders were delayed we were informed. I like the service team.Even though I enjoyed myself, I'm not sure I'd make a return visit. It's good food, but not great. The pricing makes it a little too much for me. Our total bill for four people was $166.80 with tax and tip. That's $40 a plate. I gave it four stars because a lot of people will love this place.
Disappointing ambiance. We had a view inside the kitchen from our table. Large, open dining room with overly bright lighting. Not at all warm and inviting. Food was just okay. Probably won't return.

First time. Lots of people waiting outside. Area for kids to run and play was good. Not sure there was waiting are inside in bad weather. Seated within 30 minutes was acceptable on a Friday night on covered patio area. Server was attentive. The bean dip was a first for me and very tasty. I ordered bacon wrapped shrimp. The bacon was slightly over cooked. The order was covered in white cheese which I thought was not needed and was not melted well. The vegetables were exceptional. Cooked so as to be crisp and flavored well. My wife ordered the carne asada which was a ribeye and full of fat. It was not well seasoned. Portions were large and after chips and drinks werenât able to finish. Would go back as not many choices in Prosper at present. Not on list of âgotta go againâ.

Hula hut Little Elm Provides Mexican Food With a Surfer Twist to the Little Elm TX Area.
We have been to the Hula Hut 3 different times and had 3 different servers. Each server had a great friendly attitude and went out of their way to be accommodating. There was no problem with any special request. I have eaten the shrimp tacos twice and they were great. Just had a burger and it was big and juicy. There was no problem getting it cooked the way you want it. When the server brought my wife's he ask her to check it to make sure it was cooked the way she wanted just like they do in a fancy steakhouse. Our grand kids have been with us each time and they are very accommodating for kids as well. I would recommend this place if you are looking for good atmosphere and casual food. Also the bar drinks are good.RobS3627,We thank you for taking the time to leave us such great feedback, and are excited to hear how much you're three experiences have been successful.
