Was greeted with a smile and given a friendly waitress who brought us everything we needed. I ordered the salmon and it was perfectly cooked...which doesnât happen a lot with chain restaurants. We also ordered chicken crispers with Jack Daniels sauce and that was good as well.

On July 12, 10 friends and I were seated family-style at a long table in Fiesta Charra's main dining room in East Lansing MI. Red, White, and Green decorations added to the festive atmosphere of this Mexican restaurant with original murals, oil paintings, and painted chairs. The server handled drink and food orders and delivery of both courteously and efficiently. The menu has extensive Mexican offerings and some standard US fare. The kids menu has a good selection of kid-food from tacos to hot dogs. A variety of drinks are offered. The $2 beer special was special.

Stopped in towards end of Sunday evening which might have colored experience. Margaritas were decent. Service was prompt. Food was... Not great. I'm not certain the menu or food has evolved that much since they opened in 1978. Kitchen staff didn't really want to be there are noise drove off two other tables. Based on reviews I'd say food and experience are highly variable.
