We were here a year ago and it was good. Today was the opposite. We didnât even stay to eat. We walked in and saw a lot of people waiting which isnât a good sign. We waited for attention and were there well over 5 minutes before someone finally came up front...the line behind us went out the door at this stage. No apology for the wait.We were informed it would be a 20 minute wait. There are so many other options in town we decided not to wait that long. It would be difficult to leave by the front door with everyone waiting so decided to go out the to go door at the back. That side of the restaurant was empty...all tables empty! We asked why we had to wait while the other half of the restaurant was empty.....we have no staff today was the response. Unbelievable. Sadly donât think we will be back

Stopped here when looking for a place for Mexican food. Crowd was light as it was early. They had a special on the Indian Taco. It was a great choice for me. Staff was very helpful and prompt with service.

Inside the restaurant they have an adobe facade and the chairs and booths have paintings of Mexican themes. My Wife and I started with a small margarita which was quite potent then we ordered the flautas which came with lettuce, sour cream, retried beans and rice, unfortunately the flautas were burnt at the edges but otherwise tasted good, my Wife ordered churros for dessert which unfortunately were smothered in fake cream and chocolate sauce and I ordered a flan which came the same way and in each case spoilt the dish. The bill was $38.39.

Nothing fancy, but tasty and filling New Mexican. The carnitas was authentic, stringy yet tender. Salsa very spicy. Navajo taco was very large, and tasty, though got soggy as one ate. Not great cuisine, but a good, fun stop.

My family and I were excited to try Los Rios after reading the great reviews on Trip Advisor, so we chose it over all the other restaurants in Farmington. We love to eat out and Southwestern/New Mexican food is our favorite. Unfortunately, our meals were mediocre at best. The food was fairly standard in flavor. It definitely left something to be desired. Additionally, the lunch prices were high for the quality of food received. I gave the place a three rating because the staff were very attentive and friendly. If they had not been, we would have been even more disappointed. We will not return to Los Rios.

We were staying at the hotel this restaurant is in and didnât want to drive after being on the road a lot today. We sat at the bar and got drinks and that was it. The bartender vanished. 2 or 3 other people came and made drinks but ignored us. The bartender came back, wiped the bar right beside my empty glass and then left? My partner went to the front desk to complain and the manager came over to pour me a drink, and finally bought us menus after 25 minutes! The taco salad was only half full. Food 2/5. Service 1/5. The other branches in Durango and Bayfield are 100 times better than this one!

From the peach margarita to the shrimp in red sauce with peppers and onions to the salsa and chips! Great! And the service was quick and friendly! Got to stop if you are in Farmington!

The food is wonderful with lots of flavor. Was disappointed in the size of portions served. Lunch portions very small so be sure to order from dinner menu. Even dinner portions are smaller. But overall if you want to enjoy the real flavor of the southwest it is an excellent choice for dining.
