Comfortable local, subdivided into three floors, one of a bright and large terrace. Inside is characterised by stone walls linked by a majestic arch. Born as an old vinaia in the second half of the XIX century, now it offers a typical Sardinian cuisine wi
This is so far from a romantic restaurant that you can come to. It is for large groups or family that can be noisy without anyone getting upset. The food is very average. Olive oil for the sallad was served in small plastic sachets - so plastic. Our restaurant is a place made for every kind of people, from couples to big families, thanks to our terrace that can make you feel like home. If you're looking for a small and intimate local, with silence and boring people, this is not suitable for you. We're sorry if you felt unconfortable and found our food "average"; the other reviews say otherwise. And, in the end, the olive oil is served in plastic sachets also said "single-dose", as the law requires us. Thanks for your attention.

We have been there to eat fish but the fish menu was so bad, just a couple of not freezer fishes that we went for a pizza that was instead very good. The service was fast and kind.

We loved the ambiance of this place, perched on a hill with a great view of the water. The food was excellent and there seemed to be many locals. I had the squid ink pasta with octopus which was amazing.

Excellent food, excellent wine, and cocktails, nice decoration at a very reasonable price. The tasting menu includes 5 local appetizers, the best weâve had so far, a main local dish, and dessert. If you take a drink before, you get a cold cuts assortment with cheese so it canât make it hard to finish the menu :-) The boss is Italian but has a French mom so she speaks 3 languages. Theyâre also super friendly if you have a young kid. Ours adopted her straight away. I highly recommend this place if you go to SantâAntioco.

I first ate at Rubiu three years ago when it was located downtown. This year I went to the new large location. Same excellent quality. We had pizza with Sardinian provolone and eggplants and a plate with cheese, prosciutto, salami, and other nice delicatessen. Great artisanal beers. We had the light ones (white and red), both really good.

Achille brings a breath of fresh air and innovative flair to Sardinian cuisine. Use of best produce and freshest ingredients. Everything served with an attention to presentation. Informal, yet attentive, service by young waiters with a ready smile. A plus for carafes of cold water with ice served liberally at no extra charge. The locale is not at the same level of the cuisine. The restaurant looks like an airplane hangar and the ceiling fans were totally insufficient to cool the room on a hot summer evening. An investment in air conditioning is essential.

We had dinner with two families with children (age 10-13) including both antipasti, and seafood dishes, as well as pasta and tagliate for the kids. Very nice staff, getting a table for seven (we hadn't booked a table) ready in no time. Our waitress spoke English very well. The menu was typical for the region, sporting mainly seafood and some meat dishes, and surprisingly, a range of craft beers from a local micro brewery.Highlights:Antipasti: Tonno Rosso - beautifully seared tuna, wrapped in sesame seeds on sea weed, together with some spills of subtle sauces. Excellent. Secondi: The Tagliate (grilled beef) was awesome, probably the best we had during our week on the Island of Sant'Antioco. All other dishes were really good (my son had Spaghetti alle vongole - what could possibly go wrong?) although not spectacular. But still, a very enjoyable and tasty dinner in a very nice atmosphere and not too expensive. I absolutely recommend this place and would come back here if i was in the area.Thank you for your review See you soonRossella
