The Candina of Seppetise comes from a family tradition. In 2005, after 30 years of closure, came back to life this inn, once a meeting place for many of Ostuni, which repeats the old traditional tastes and flavors of earth and sea of Puglia. The restauran
I started with the mussels and John had the seafood salad. Both were really good in this lovely restaurant set inside another Ostuni cave. Staff are very friendly and efficient. For mains I had the grilled Sea Bass and John had Cuttlefish and Octopus. Both really good and obviously fresh. We also had some grilled veg to go with the fish, We shared a piece of orange/choc tart which was very nice. We had a bottle of Primitivo at 15 Euros - total bill was 68 Euros. We enjoyed our evening so came back a week later and I had a deep fired assortment including polpette, zucchini flowers with John again having the seafood salad. John then had spaghetti vongole and I had the sea bass again since it was so nice. We had a bottle of Primitivo and again shared a piece of fig pie. It was all very good.Worth finding your way to this lovely restaurant.Dear Guests, thanks for sharing your experience in our restaurant, it's with pleasure that we read your wonderful comments and we hope to have the chance to welcome you again very soon.warmest regardsStaff Osteria La Candina De Seppe Tise

If you are looking for a change of pace in Puglia this little pub/restaurant was ideal. They technically open at 700pm (or when they are ready) and the place fills up by 900pm. Only ever saw locals here on my 2 visits. Sampled both their hamburger and pizza and both were excellent! The bar has a large sample of local beers on tap. Unfortunately I ended up sticking with the Blanche from Belgium as it was the best choice......The pub is located down a small street just below the from the main Piazza. Look for the sign out of the street corner advertising the nightly meal specials.Staff are friendly and helpful in sampling beer and in giving food suggestions.Thank you for all. Also, we renew the tap list always, you can find the best choice in a good italian or apulian craft beer. See you.

Amongst Ostuni's pizzeries the Bellavista stands out from the crowd as it's housed in an hypogeal oil mil dating back to the year 1500. The home-made preparation respects the authentic Neapolitan tradition for pizza making as a STG ( guaranteed as Traditi
We had a very nice evening sitting out in one of Ostuni's alleyways at this primarily pizza restaurant. We had some mixed croquette starters and then all had different pizza options which no-one found fault with and all enjoyed. The bill was a little pricier than I would have liked for a fairly basic meal but I think we made a mistake by ordering bottled wine rather then their house wine which added to our bill somewhat.

Interior and exterior space, gorgeous location, true Neapolitan pizza wood oven .Make with mother yeast Free Wi-Fi, Reservations, Seating, Room Staff, Wheelchair Accessible, Wine & Beer, Accepts American Express, Accepts MasterCard, Visa, Visa
Sometimes especially when itâs unseasonably cold and windy only comfort food will do. This restaurant does very good Neapolitan style pizza, so itâs big, with thick doughy crust and ample gooey toppings. Donât go here looking for a pizza express style thin crust facsimile pizza, this is the real deal. There is ample choice although the starters and desserts plus the wine list is limited. However, this is more than made up for by the warm welcome from the father and son team who are really hospitable and engaging. Itâs also very reasonably priced. Itâs situated a little off the tourist trail up to the cathedral but worth seeking out.

This is a meat restaurant! The grill is in the restaurant, so you will come out smelling of carne. We had an excellent meal here, good local wine list, very helpful staff. The manager, as of this writing, is Pasquale. We would definitely go there again. It is a little tricky to find, however, as it is down a side street (do not rely on Google Maps). You are right, This is mainly meat restaurant, however some pescatarians and vegetarian will find dishes suitable for their dietary restrictions. We are happy that you have enjoyed local meat prepared on our charcoal/ wood grill and service from Pasquale. We are sorry if you have left smelling of meat, we are working on this issue and we hope it will be fixed for your next visit ! All the best,Daria
We found this place quite by chance, you pick the meats you want from a butcherâs style counter, they have steaks, sausages, bombettes, chicken wings and a whole host of local delicacies. They seat you in the restaurant and you can choose drinks, appetisers and side dishes for your mains. They were really helpful and friendly and this was the only place in Puglia that we visited more than once! Itâs full of locals and always busy so you know itâs going to be good and reasonably priced too.

Excellent cheap and cheerful food, in a great location. Quick Italian food served on throwaway dishes, a bit like street food in the centre of Ostuni. Great food and great service.

A pasqua e a pasquetta il ristorante sarà aperto anche a pranzo dalle 12:30 alle 14:30. At Easter and Easter Monday the restaurant will also be open for lunch from 12:30 to 14:30
One night when we were tired of large dinners, we decided to have just pizza and wine. Close to our hotel was a nice looking restaurant that specialized in pizza. The place was nice, the food was good, the service very friendly. We ordered two pizzas. one like a margherita, and one with anchovies. Both were served hot and perfectly baked. We had some local wine, which was more expensive than the two pizzas, but was also pretty good. For us it was exactly what we wanted and nothing more.
