Pizza Express Amalfi is a small shop that you can easily find along the main street of the ancient Maritime Republic. Here you will find sympathy, speed and a lot of "goodness"! Anything you like prepared in front of your eyes in a few minutes!
After a long day on the Path of the Gods, we just wanted to crash at our apartment with pizzas and beers. Happily, Pizza Express sorted us out with great pizzas, made in front of us with fresh dough, in 10 minutes flat. The name tells you everything.

Whilst an amazing review, watch out fore the "bait and switch". They ask if you would like to chose 3 starters to share and then they bombard you with 7 starters that we couldn't eat but obviously were charged for. Main courses were then surplus to requirements....which wasn't a real problem as the seabass was over cooked and tasteless. Shame really as the view is superb.Dear Jules P,thanks for choosing our restaurant and for the feedback.First of all, I want to apologize as we did not meet your expectations.Even thought I understand that our recommendations did not work, I believe this is the first review ever that talks about "bait and switch".... and I don't think it's fair.I'm sorry we were not informed about your disappointment when you were at the restaurant, we could have found a solution to make you more pleased.Warm regards,Ivano Proto.

On the recommendation of Roberto at Punta Civita B and B, we ventured down to this restaurant in a rainstorm. How lucky we were! From start to finish, the food was excellent. Our waitstaff was professional and present throughout the meal and all of courses were expertly prepared. Do not miss an opportunity to eat at this charming restaurant.

La Rua "Pizze e Delizie is a takeaway pizzeria, rotisserie and bakery family business where all we do is purely HOME MADE with fresh and first choice products.
A quaint small local pizzeria. Family owned. Absolutely welcoming. We eat halal and they were most obliging to prepare vegetarian with washing all utensils and bakeware first and no mixing with any meat products. The kitchen is an open view one and one can see how fresh and clean everything is. The tastiest pizzas we had in Italy. The most welcoming of staff. Luv luv luv this place. A must for any stop in amalfi.

The menus focus on long tradition of the Neapolitan pizza. The aim is to offer a gentle mix of local and fresh products associated with good home-cooking.
A local shop owner (Antoinella from Passagiana) told us to come here; she said it was the best pizza in Ravello, and she was right! In fact, this was the best pizza we had in all of Italy! (And we visited over 10 cities). Beautiful restaurant - great indoor and outdoor seating. And the pizza is marvelous. As is the bread, so fresh! And we had a delicious mixed salad and zucchini soup. Everything on the menu is probably delicious. Amazing and attentive service too. This place is a MUST visit when in Ravello.

Enjoyed our meal/evening. Great friendly service. The anchovies appetizer was the best we have had on our holiday. Also had the prosciutto melon appetizer which was very fresh. We had the lemon linguine that came with an outstanding creamy sauce. We had the house red wine which was good. Priced favourably for quality and quantity.

Stopped in during our week-long stay in Minori after reading all the great reviews. The restaurant itself is beautiful. Both indoor and covered outdoor seating. Service was generally inattentive (even by Italian waiter standards). Food was good, but not any better than other local restaurants and pricier. We didn't go back.Dear jkp99b,thanks a lot for choosing our restaurant!I'm sorry we did not meet your expectations although we always do our best.Hopefully you'll give us one more chance in the future, grazie,Antonio & Giovanni Di Bianco.

We serve snacks and drinks all night long on The wonderful waterfront of Maiori in Amalfi Coast. We are close during the autumn and winter. We hope to meet all of you in spring!
We visited this restaurant 3 years ago when visiting Maiori and just felt we had to come back. Franco is such a personable, attentive host and treats all customers like family. The food is always delicious and Francoâs homemade beer, wine & limoncello are just another reason to keep coming back. This is a family owned restaurant and it is obvious that they take great pride in serving the finest home style cooking available in Maiori.

Casa Scola is located in the medieval village of Castello, in the city of Gragnano, renowned throughout the world for the production of the excellent IGP Pasta. The company produces grapes and wine Gragnano D.O.C. sparkling red, sparkling white table wine
Me and my partner passed through Gragnano on our way to the Amalfi Coast in September and were told to come eat at this very beautiful and charming little place. If we had more time we would have loved to have stayed, as the settings truly were breathtaking but lunch was perfect enough for us.Although this hotel is not an easy find; having to drive through the one way streets, finding tiny turnings and driving up a very steep and cobble road/path, the wait & search was well worth it.One of the most hospitable experiences of my life, having turned up at about midday and being told that they were closed for lunch, the lovely lady who seemed to not only be the chef but also the house keeper, porter, receptionist, you name it, told us that she would cook us lunch and hoped we didn't mind having the restaurant to ourselves and if the local produce was ok for us, then she would whip something together for around 1pm. To our amazement, we could only but take up her offer, as she seemed more than happy to accommodate us as we were only on a short visit.Everything we got given was delicious and huge ahha! To start with, we had an antipasti board of ham and cheese, along with bruschetta, some zucchini, aubergines, peppers, bread and a lovely bottle of white wine from their vineyards. To follow we had the best pasta that can be made from Gragnano with pomodoro and more bread, Then for dessert my partner had a chocolate mouse, which was a struggle to fit in but he did it!!After this we went to pay and bought a few homemade jams, truffle fettucine, limone linguine and these amazing pasta shells, for which we will use for Ragu once back in England. All together the bill came to 70 euros, we gave a 10 euro tip and left with full belly's, smiles and the desire to go back the next time we visit that area of Italy again. Once again Italy proves that not only do they sell some of the best produce in the world but their love for sharing and caring for something they have lived all their lives for, makes visits like these so magical and something I would love to see more in England!!! Grazie mille
