Things to do in Fasano
I really hesitate to tell anyone else about this fantastic, very small restaurant as it may spoil its charm, simplicity and excellent food - but I'm public spirited, so here goes. We had to spend an evening in Fasano, which is not really a tourist destination itself, but is close by plenty of others at Savellettri, Locorotondo, Alberobello etc. There are lots of restaurants that almost all cater to a local market rather than tourists and some rate highly in Tripadvisor - but this one doest - ONLY because it has few reviews and that's presumably because it is tucked away, even by Fasano standards. It is however totally worth finding - the food is the genuine article and the service brilliant (& excellent English spoken by our waitress). On our visit, not only did it appear that the staff are all related, but most of the customers are family too. If you had to invent a restaurant that captures the best of this part of Italy, Smnidd probably does exactly that : great food, fantastic welcome, no nonsense or overpriced flim-flam. Small menu of great starters and mains. Puddings are possibly not home made, but are high quality bought-in. It was the best restaurant we visited during our week-long stay. We are regular visitors to this part of Puglia and will be coming back here on every visit. Thanks @surveyor64, come back soon.

No matter if round or sliced, if you are dining out or at home, a pizza is still a pizza! What is the secret to our pizza? It's the wood; It's the flour; it's the fermentation; It's the dough; It's the tomatoes; It's the olive oil; It's the mozzarella; It
We are disappointed by this pizzeria. The menu is really fun to read, but non traditional pizza's are too pricy for what you get. Also there are to few choices in traditional pizza. The pizza is ok but lacks ingredients quantity, the dough however is really good. The starter pate was too expensive for the quantity. (I didn't like it at all) The waiters are rushing everything, we weren't done with our starter and we got our pizza's already. They are pushing to get as many tables as possible which you shouldn't notice as a customer. (I worked in horeca). I would not eat here again nor would I recommend it..

I was here last Friday night (24May2019). Yeah the location is a bit out of the town center but It is very easy to get there and there is plenty of parking space. The inside is modern but with the typical Puglia traditional style, super clean and cosy. Lovely place to spend a night out with friends and/or family.Food was excellent!!! I am Vegan, and I had plenty of food and options. Absolutely everything was delicious. Specially the parmigiana and the orecchiette with funghi porcini and fave. Everything has a little twist which is why this place stands out from the rest. And by the way, I am not Italian but I often travel to Puglia, I visited this restaurant with friends from Fasano, and they loved the food as much as I did (And they are not vegans). The chef and the waiter were super friendly and super helpful with my diet. They really made a special atmosphere. Great team! The price was normal, We spend what we normally do in a restaurant. Overall, excellent food excellent service. I will definitely recommend this place and for sure I will come back in my next visit to Puglia. See you this summer! :)

Viantìca di Cibo e di Storie it's a restaurant offering traditional Apulian cuisine revisited in a contemporary way
From the minute you walk in, you are aware of the love that has been put into this small place. The food was the best we had in Puglia, excellent lamb and aubergine pasta. Soufflé was amazing, coffee was excellent and I was very happy with my wine choice. The presentation of the food is also really excellent. Donât hesitate about eating here, I donât think they know how to disappoint!

A small neighborhood pizza place, staff is very friendly. The gas-fired oven is used to provide a very good product: both our pizzas had a great crust, nicely done sauce and good toppings. The wine section is binary: one red or one white, either for â¬15. Total including the wine was â¬30.
