Reviews on South American food in San Pedro, Belize Cayes, Belize. San Pedro is "La Isla Bonita" that Madonna made famous. Now it's a tourist mecca, but still boasts great beaches and plenty of dive shops so you can enjoy the sun, sand, and sea. Plan a side trip to Caye Caulker while you're here; it is less developed and more laid back, and has its own splendid swimming areas.

My family and I stayed here for c.10 days and ate dinner here about four times, a couple of light lunches and most breakfasts. The staff were really nice and very helpful. The food was reasonably good - I particularly enjoyed the crab bisque and stone crab! However, the food was expensive for the quality, when compared with the other quality San Pedro or closer places we ate, and the menu was quite limited and a little unimaginative, particularly by our third and fourth visits, which is tricky if youâre staying at the Hotel.

My family visited The Office for a quick dinner on our last night in San Pedro. We originally planned to eat at the restaurant by the hotel but it happened to be closed, so we looked for another option. The Office came very highly recommended, so we went and we are very glad we did. The restaurant is situated right on the water on the lagoon side of the island. They have their own dock so people often choose to drive there by boat. When we arrived we were seated right away. The servers were really nice and helpful with drink and food recommendations. I really liked the island-pub relaxed vibe. Our food and drink orders were filled really quickly which was nice because we were in a bit of a hurry to get our kids back to sleep because we had an early morning the next day. The food was really really good. I loved it, as did the rest of my family. I highly recommend a stop at The Office to everyone visiting San Pedro. Youâll love the food, setting and atmosphere.

My husband and I visited Briana's Food Place on a walking food tour, and were blown away by the amount of delicious food we got!Mounds of scrumptous chicken, beans, rice and plantains were served to our huge group, along with Belikin beers. The food was steaming hot and so delicious! We will definitely be back to Briana's on the next trip to Belize!

We loved our breakfast! The Nutella Crepes and the Apple Crisp French toast special were spectacular. It was also the best coffee I had in San Pedro.

Causual, good food right on the beach in the heart of town. Stop by, let the wind whisk away your cares, have a couple of Mojitos and a really good lunch or dinner!
We had an excellent lunch. The food was incredible. I got the baja fish wrap and my wife got the tuna burger. Both were really good. The pasta salad was my favorite side dish i've had on the island. It was also really nice to be overlooking the ocean during our meal.

This place was recommended by the guy I rented an Air B nB from, did not disappoint. Facility is small but inviting, staff is friendly. I ordered the chicken stew, rice and beans...very good. They were out of Belikin so I had a red stripe.

A modern take on Breakfast and Lunch, with vegetarian choices plus awesome hand made espresso coffee, chilled coffee blends and a big tea selection. Air conditioned and open 8am to 2pm Monday to Friday.Located in the purple colored Vilma Linda Plaza buildi
Not only the best tasting breakfast but also the best service from the nicest couple. Highly recommend the chocolate banana pancakes and the light, pull apart French toast covered in a homemade coconut cream sauce and crispy coconut flakes. The owners were friendly and very attentive and continually made sure our coffee was refilled and that we were happy with everything. I stayed in San Pedro for three weeks and ate at plenty of highly rated breakfast places but, with out a doubt, Mesa is the best place to eat at on the island. Do yourself a favor and check this place out early on in your trip because you will be back. Enjoy!
