AUTHENTIC Mexican and El Salvadoran FOOD LOTS OF SPANISH ENTREES AND BREAKFAST ON SATURDAY AND SUNDAY STARTS AT 9:00 Am
This is one of those places that you would drive by and not even give a second glance to. We happened to discover it at the Taste of Oakland Park and decided to come and check it out.The restaurant is a stand-alone building that is non descript. The interior is small, but the staff is very warm and friendly. This restaurant specializes in Mexican and Salvadoran foods. We started our meal with Horchata, which is a blend of rice milk and cinnamon and our first time ever having it. It was YUMMY and comes in a huge glass. Each table is served chips, which were warm and crispy, and a homemade salsa. The salsa was very good. Not too spicy, but has a slight kick. For starters we tried the Sweet Corn Tamales (it was like eating a dessert!) and a bean Pupusa, which is a traditional Salvadoran corn tortilla stuffed with items of your choice. It comes with this wonderful sauce and cabbage mix to be placed on top. It wasn't greasy at all and I would definitely recommend to try it. For the main entries we had the Grilled Chicken Breast that is topped with grilled peppers and onions. The chicken is wonderfully seasoned and I like the fact that it is grilled. It is accompanied with black beans (AMAZING FLAVOR) and a rice that has some mixed vegetables in it. Delicious! The other dish we tried was the Salvadoran Steak in Red Sauce, which is sauteed with onions, peppers, and tomatoes. Highly Recommended! The sauce almost tastes like an Italian tomato sauce and goes well with everything. I even liked it on my chicken. The steak was perfectly cooked as well. This, too, is accompanied with black beans and rice plus fried plantains. Definitely a Winning Dish!Portions are large and we, unfortunately, had no room for dessert. I would DEFINITELY RECOMMEND coming to check it out. Don't be fooled by looks on the outside, as inside, is definitely a treat for your taste buds!PS - If this review was useful, please click the HELPFUL button on your phone or you can click the THANK YOU button on your computer. Great Colombian restaurant! All the yummy baked goods like pandebono, pandeyuca, buñuelos, arepas.... but wait, besides the food, which is good and well priced, with unit you taste the juices there! Ask for a mora-en-leche, or try mango-en-leche, you will become addicted (pun intended).

We went to Inkanto on a Thursday evening for a celebration. The place is spotless. Seated instantly. We had the ceviche sampler to start. Amazing ! Along with a nice bottle of wine. We each ordered something different to try more things. Everything was beautiful on the plate and so delicious on your tongue! Best local restaurant! Even the dessert was perfect! We will be back to this incredible spot real soon!
