This restaurant is super cozy and quite dark (I did not see the ramp or steps in the back side of the restaurant as we came in!) The music is a mix of jazz and French tunes which is nice and works for the setting. We arrived for the lunch specials, and I got the pollo saltado. It was delicious with tender chicken and crunchy veg. Rice was cooked perfectly. The server suggested the specials of the day, and I wish I got that! My friend ordered the special, a freshly roasted pork with rice and pickled red onions, the skin was super crunchy and looked so tasty. Paid public parking in the front and back.

This is a really fun place for lunch because it is located off the main road and like a quiet oasis with outdoor seating. We were politely welcomed and promptly seated. The very friendly waiter explained the buffet to us as well as the significance of the colored wooden pegs at each table. Green up signals the server to come by with grilled beef, sausage or chicken, red up means to hold off. It is a fun concept. The all you can eat buffet offered a great variety of very fresh salads as well as various types of bread and hot dishes. The Chicken Stroganoff and Brazilian rice were especially delicious. Once we returned to our table, the grilled meat started to arrive. Steak tips, sirloin, spicy or mild chicken and sausage were brought by in regular intervals and carved off a spit at the table. It was really cool. The dessert, a whole pineapple grilled with cinnamon was the grand finale. I really liked it!

OVERRATED. Really disappointing. Being a Native Peruvian, they missed the mark on simple traditional dishes. . Not really good Peruvian food. Owner needs to get better cooks, check the recipe, re train them because you really get mediocre food Located on Brand ave and Maple next to the Mercedes Benz dealer. Hard to find parking, but they have valet parking. The ambiance is nice modern trendy look with dark wood accents, modern style paintings with Peruvian motives. Servers are friendly and polite. Just. Keep in mind you are going to wait for a while. it took more than 40 minutes to get our food. Peruvians restaurants are not the best about customer service, but if the food is good. I am willing to wait. This place really have mediocre food. We ordered:Lomo saltado:This is a Peruvian signature dish. Sautéed beef where the onions tomatoes, ajà amarillo with a hint of soy sauce, all combined to give you an excellent flavor. This one lack seasoning, meat was burnt, Onions and tomatoes were Overcooled as well and it had no Smokey flavor at all Ceviche:This ceviche really did not taste at all. Rated more like lemon juice. It needed more garlic, seasoning and Rocoto. Papa a la huancaina:Unfortunately it was really bland. It lack seasoning. No yellow Chile flavor. No cheese flavor. Ajà de gallina:Really lack any flavor as well. An ajà de gallina should have the chicken flavor combined with a hint of almonds or pecans as well as Parmesan cheese. This was was bland and really disappointing I saw so many reviews that this place was excellent, but as a native Peruvian I did not find any of the dishes we ordered as good. I am sorry to say that this would not be a good choice.
