Come and enjoy of a small family restaurant with the true Andean culinary heritage! The artist and mother of the house, Noemà Cristóbal, designed a unique menu inspired by the culinary wisdom inherited by her mother Faustina. Recipes which were passed dow
The decor and the food here are exquisite, as this is a labor of love for the owner. He has dedicated this restaurant to his mother (large rendering of her on one of the walls). The service is lovely. We were here as part of a food tour; we had grilled alpaca, and also tried fried cuy (guinea pig), with a small salad dotted with fig slices. Had a rich chocolate pudding for dessert. Wonderful!

Family owned and operated restaurant in the heart of Cusco, located one block from the Plaza de Armas. Recently opened in 2014. Local, home-cooked cuisine, with quality ingredients sourced from local producers.
While some of the Peruvian cuisine can taste a bit bland to our North American palettes, Sumaqcha was full of flavour and healthy sized portions. The fried plantains were divine. Deep fried pork ribs tasted like fried chicken from back home. The service is so friendly, Ernesto was so friendly and informative. A real gem.

Greens Organic was highly recommended by our tour guide for I eat a vegan diet and my wife vegetarian/ pescatarian - so they offered something for both of us. The dinner we had there was so good, we went back for lunch a few days later. Very clean and fresh with outstanding service. Fredy, in particular, waited on us at lunch and he was very friendly and extremely accommodating. Two great meals - two great experiences!

Had a great experience at this restaurant. The owner was super friendly and offered us suggestions on food we may like. We had potato with a peanut butter sauce, chicken soup and also avocado and crackers for starters followed by the famous cuy (guinea pig). It was delicious and the trimmings on the side were even better (make sure you have the peppers stuffed with alpaca). Overall a great experience that I would recommend anyone to try.

We ate here with a group, and all found the food to be excellent. Appetizers were great--the ceviche and quinoa crusted shrimp were outstanding. Main courses were uniformly good--I had sesame crusted tuna (there is a lot of seafood) and my husband had the alpaca steak which was tender and wonderfully flavored. There is a nice wine list and an attentive staff (until things got very busy at the end). The restaurant is located upstairs off one of the main squares of Cusco and it is a little tricky finding the entrance (through an art shop). Overall one of the best meals we had in Peru.

A beautifully presented meal which was cooked exactly as requested and was a generous serving. There was a wide variety of choice on the menu and we were looked after well. I was there with a large group and everyone agreed that the meal and the service were excellent.

Antonio looked after us with our daughterâs lactose intolerance needs. Arriving in Cusco, and staying at the hotel, we wanted a good lunch and decided to eat in the hotel.
