I am native Queens Resident, if youâre looking for cultural diversity all in one place then welcome to Queens, New York. Las Margaritas is one of those spots that you wouldn't forget...trust me you wouldn't. This is a place successfully combines several Latin American plates in one menu which by the way gives you a variety to choose from second to none. I highly recommend this place not only for its unique location but also for its delicious food and variety. Well crafted menu and the best cocktails around...try Bandeja Paisa on Monday's, you won't regret it at all. Happy travels all!
Tried this neighborhood restaurant on the recommendation of a local hotel. Good variety on menu. Had the trout and the Hawaiian chicken and both were very good. Meal came with a house salad with homemade dressing, and plantain, which we tried with homemade salsa and it was delicious. Service was average. Only drawback is that they do not take credit cards, but they do have an ATM machine in the rear of the restaurant.
Bocaito Restaurant offers Latin Fusion cuisine in the Jackson Heights, NY area.
For a single price with multiple drinks you can experience a great Sunday Brunch with variations like Venezuelan, Dominican, Colombian, in an atmosphere upscale and sleek modern, with attractive personnel in sleek decor. The bar is full and you can sit there or in the dining room which is ideal for group events. The dinner menu has incredible ceviche variations and unusual items like mofonguitos (plantains with chicharron and shrimp) or a fondue. Just an all-round pleasant experience.

This is a place that since the very first moment offered a great traditional Peruvian dining experience. Offers an excellent price for the dishes. Service it's good however more coordination when the place is packed would make the whole experience perfect .!!

Really enjoyed their maracuya sangria and the chicken-queso arepa. Big portion too. Took off one star because service was very matter of factly. Tried to converse in my half broken Spanish and Latin server couldnât have cared less. Miscalculated the tip (thought I was leaving something in the 20% ballpark because of good food and at the time somewhat good service) but she bluntly stated and I quote âwe pay taxâ. The total amount was an astonishing .30 cents more than I had left. Kinda spoiled an otherwise great experience. Still worth going, just donât bother about being friendly yourself.

By far, this Pollos Mario is the best restaurant offering typical Colombian dishes. The prices are very fair and the plates are loaded with the best of Colombian food. The taste is exquisite and the variety is tremendous. Every time we travel to New York, this Pollos Mario is a must for us. Pollos Mario is a chain, but this particular location is the best by far.

This was my first time eating here and I wasn't disappointed. I went with my sister and a friend. I had the Matambre with potato salad and tongue salad. The others had short ribs and skirt steak with salad and sweet plantains. All was fresh and delicious. The flan needs some work and the volume of the music was so loud that we had to ask for it to be lowered and they obliged. The service was good!

Established in 1994. Welcome to PIO PIO, our "Casa Alegre" (Cheerful House), New York City's Premiere Peruvian restaurant group since 1994, specializing in Pollo a La Brasa (Rotisserie Chicken), authentic cuisine from Peru and our famous "Green Sauce"!. W
It is easy to over order here. We wanted to visit with our family so decided to get food to go rather than eat out. Since there were four of us we got the Matador Combo; the menu says the "most popular". We had drinks from home; nothing ordered from the restaurant.Well, the combo is enough for about eight people! Or four who don't care how much they weigh. It included a very juicy and flavorful whole chicken split; nicly spiced outside and juicy inside. A portion of yellow rice and red beans; the best part was the beans, the rice was not seasoned but definately yellow. Fried plantines; testones and sweet plantaines and salchipapa were also included. There was some avacado sauce and a viniger dressing for the side salad. They provided plenty of the sauce and dressing in small portion cups.We ate all we wanted the first night and had leftovers for a few days following. The chicken remained juicy and I used the fries in a hash I made. Pick up was quick and convienet. Check out was fast. I did leave a small tip with the takeout order.
