Authentic and delicious, I've eaten at Eva's Polish Kitchen several times since relocating to the Vero Beach, Florida, area. Small, quaint - maybe even to the point of being old fashioned - if you're into Polish food, this is the place.Located on 43rd Avenue in southwest Vero Beach, Eva's shares a small strip center with a gas station on the east side of the street. Drive too fast and you'll miss it. Plenty of parking, clean restrooms and a small dining room for maybe 20 or so patrons. Very Europeon - or Polish - looking.I've eaten at Eva's during the lunch hour and enjoy the moderately priced lunch specials. Among my favorites are Piergois, pickle soup, and the stuffed cabbage. Evas also has a "deli" counter and many "to-go" varieties of the food served in the restaurant. I've purchase the piergois and stuffed cabbage on many occasions. Polite staff that are quick to answer questions and offer dining suggestions. You will find Eva cooking on most days or greeting customers.I will definitely return to Eva's Polish Kitchen - maybe for a family dinner.William E. Lewis Jr.Vero Beach, Florida.

Serving the finest fresh seafood in Vero Beach, Florida. Fresh seafood daily, Ipswich clams and Haddock flown in twice a week, homemade soups and prepared Soups & Meals-To-Go, Boutique Wines, Artisan Breads, Seasonings, Specialty products and so much more
This unique restaurant is a fresh fish market, serving lunch six days a week, and dinner only on Fridays and Saturdays. Accordingly, reservations are a must for dinner, so plan ahead for a truly worthwhile dinner experience. The atmosphere for dinner is surprisingly pleasant, since the venue is a retail fish market. All of the servers are friendly and professional, the food is quite good, and pricing is reasonable. A bonus is that co-owner, Kimmy, is one of the waitresses, who may spontaneously go to the piano in the corner to play and sing a song from Phantom of the Opera. There is ample on site parking.

We try and visit for breakfast every couple of weeks. The most unbelievable omelettes I have had. And absolutely caring staff, tremendous service and creative breakfast food. Not like any other breakfast restaurant or diner. The combination of flavors and style for a small restaurant is unbelievable. A winning combination in every respect.

Casual and fun seafood restaurant. Full bar, great margaritas, happy hour daily 4pm - 6pm. Local and new england seafood. Clam chowder, conch fritters, fish tacos, fish and chips. Terrific burgers. Outdoor seating in the courtyard.
We have been to the Fishshack several times and have noticed the food prices going up and the quainty of food deminishing. The service is terrible starting with the hostess, WARNING: they are now taking reservations and will make you wait while they have 5 tables open. We had a 30 minute wait and when we finally where seated the table next to us was empty and remained empty until we almost finished our meal , they could have seated someone there and still have time for the reservation. BOTTOM LINE : WE DID NOT HAVE AN ENJOYABLE EXPERIENCE AND FELT UNWELCOME AND THAT WE WERE INCONVENIENCING THE STAFF. FOOD WAS NOT WORTH THE HASSLE......
