Nice little place. Shame about everything else. A table who were seated after us, ordered and was finishing their first course when we finally got a menu, some 15 mins later. A second table, 3ft away, then arrived, ordered and finished their first course in the further 20 mins before our order was taken. After another 10 mins (45 mins after arrival) they finally took our drinks order. By now we were hungry and expectant. We were to be utterly disappointed. The Gnocchi wasnât terrible (6/10) but the Fusilli with peas and bacon was. Just those three ingredients on a plate, no skill, no sauce. A child could do better (4/10). The Scallops looked fancy in their shells but were ordinary and swimming in half a pound of butter (3/10). But the Meatballs took the crown. Boiled grey lumps in what could have been thick vegetable soup from a can next to some congealed polenta. Like bad school dinners (2/10).Being British we said âvery niceâ when they asked if everything was OK. But then thatâs what TripAdvisor is for.We reckon this is a restaurant that had its peak 30 years ago and is now a shadow of its past. Avoid.

High risk of addiction ;-) Seriously, I am very fond of Sushi, so I come here as often as I can to enjoy their delicious and absolutely fresh Sashimi (generous slices, as generous Japanese use to do), Maki, Gunkans and Ebi tempura. As so many, it is not a Japanese-run restaurant, but you can definitely feel the passion for what they are doing. I am personally not fond of fancy variations and tend to prefer well-prepared "classics", but sometimes their creativity makes me curious and every now and then I try something new.... experimental palates will not be disappointed. The atmosphere is elegant and cozy at the same time, the size is just right and excellently managed by the super-friendly staff.Thank you for your review.Come whenever you can, we're very proud to be appreciate from our guests, expecially if you're very fond of sushi and you tried many different restaurants! Kind Regards.

Had a pleasant visit to this restaurant. Lasagne -very nice. Steak (tasty and large) and oven-baked potatoes was nice, although the potatoes were a little bland. Had the medieval torta for desert, was nice, stodgy but nice. House wine was good. Friendly patient waitress.Overall good value.

Adalberto and Claudia welcome you to the restaurant "Trattoria Ponte Ottavi" to taste some of the classic dishes of Italian cuisine and not only ... low temperature cooking, smoking, marinating and other techniques of processing of raw materials, well exp
Using the internet we have found a place near Treviso that serves regional food, Ponte Ottavi Trattoria. It looks like an unassuming family place and has its own parking lot, always a plus. A charming, smiling lady comes to help us. She apologizes for her English which is tons better than our Italian. They have also helpfully set us down next to a local who speaks English. Since everyone is being so nice and trying so hard, we decide on their specialties for lunch. They have made an onion soup which they say is just like French onion soup. (Except itâs not). Their real specialty is grilled meats and tripe. I order the onion soup and grilled meat and my husband orders snails and tripe. My very pale onion soup is really not like French onion soup. My husband loves his snails. My plate of grilled meat seems like it has been pre-cooked and then grilled. My husband loves his tripe. Everyone is so happy that the American likes snails and guts.We also have a small carafe of local wine and some biscotti which are really just cookies with our espressos. Our experience has been excellent but some of the food was lacking.

I m not a Japanese food maniac but I have to admit the quality of zushi is a kind of better than other Japanese cuisines in town. Of course the price is accordingly..They also do delivery and staff is lovely.

Come across this restaurant by chance and decided to try the lunchtime menu at â¬10...one course plus salad and water. Varied menu and all in our party had good sized portions. Drinks at reasonable prices as well. Service was friendly despite our lack of Italian. ...the menu was also in english which helped. Would happily return.

I quite like the atmosphere of this restaurant, something in between a traditional Asian restaurant and a friendly "Italian osteria".The staff is very friendly and quick. The menu is interesting because there are two separate options; Thai and Japanese. The location is good, very close to the historical centre.(10 minutes walking). The price/quality ratio is pretty honest!!!

Yu is a philosophy. Off the beaten path, far from noisy, busy places. Let yourself dive into Japanese food, cooked and served by professionals. Dim lights and lounge music match perfectly to the atmosphere. Spacious tables guarantee intimacy and discretion. The menu goes beyond classic sushi, giving the opportunity to experience a complete Japanese dinner. The staff are very attentive to customers' needs explaining, advising, sharing a smile. Yu offers all you need for a romantic dinner, a business meal, a solo break.

I found this on Tripadvisor and wanted to treat my daughter to her Birthday dinner mainly because she prefers seafood and she LOVES crudo: the Italian raw fish plate which includes some smoked fish as salmon and swordfish as well as faw scampi, tuna sashimi etc... we LOVED the food... everything we ordered and had was indeed excellent. The service was attentive without being overwhelming, and the decor was pleasant. The prices were half of what it would be in Milan for a meal of the same quality in an elegant restaurant.
