We thoroughly enjoyed our meal here. Small morsels of smoked swordfish wrapped around something like cream cheese were tantalizing. Next up, the pistachio gnocchi was tender and pistachio cream was scrumptious. But the best was tangy and sweet lemon tiramisu!! It was a lovely evening so we were on the patio but the ambience inside looked interesting.

We were booked as a tour party, thus expected no great meals, and the glass walled trattoria in the trees did not bode well but we were pleasantly surprised to dine much to our satisfaction on swordfish steaks. While wandering through Trapani along the Lungomare, we saw this restaurant and decided to tr it for lunch....and we were so pleasantly surprised. The lunch was terrific in every respect. We shared a caprese salad to start and it was the best we had this entire trip. The mozzarella was perfectly soft and milky and the tomatoes were the best either of us had had in a long time. We had two different pastas for lunch, both in a trapinese style, with ground nuts in the sauce. Perfecto! All this w a wonderful light local white wine and topped off with a superb cannoli...and well, we knew we had made a very fortunate selection on where to have pranzo. We recommend this place very highly. Plus is it is family run and the service was excellent.

This restaurant is tucked along a small street In the old part of town. We had to queue to get in as the restaurant was packed with local families and couples. I had the most incredible swordfish steak cooked with a pistachio and almond crumb drizzled with olive oil and fresh lemon. Absolutely awesome. My friend had pasta with swordfish, artichokes and almonds and it was delicious. The fish was bought fresh from the port that morning and was cooked with a delicate touch absolutely incredible. We drank lots of local white wine and finished off with Italian brandy. Total price was 50 euros a steal for an incredible meal. Atmosphere was great just soaked up the laughter and language. Waiters were brilliant working flat out, very attentive and humerus. Young waiter stole the show with his enthusiasm and took real delight and pride in his job - called the bambino by the padron. A must if you are in Trapani.

Firstly, reading the previous reviews, I’m amazed. The owner is rude and because the restaurant is always busy, really doesn’t care, not a nice attitude. The restaurant is to bright and lacks any atmosphere. The biggest surprise is how dull the food is and the menu choices. You can help yourself to a little salad bar, which has been sitting there all evening not covered. I will say that the fresh mussels are very tasty though. This restaurant was hard to find and I have to say just not worth the effort. If it were anywhere else, I am sure people would not stay.
