Was driving through Sycamore looking for a place for lunch, and pulled into a parking spot right smack in front of this place. They have metered parking, but it took like 2 dimes, and pennies!! Quarter's wouldn't fit. So a few pennies and you have lots of times on the meter. It was a beautiful day, so we sat right by the open windows in the front of the restaurant. The salsa was HOT... but good, with good chips. Our waiter was fast and good and suggested a burrito which was SO HUGE! And really good. We loved this place! will be back

We have eaten here many times and have never been disappointed. I love their chicken noodle soup and wish it was served every day, but they have a nice variety offered throughout the week. Breakfast is generous and made to order. My husband loves the Italian beef and hash brown casserole. I absolutely love Cassie's chicken salad on marble rye with a side of fresh fruit. It is always a friendly atmosphere, very inviting with comfortable seating. There is also seating outside. You can buy their locally famous popcorn here as well as decadent desserts. The amazing transformation of the former Bep's tailoring is worth the trip, but you won't want to miss out on a delicious home cooked meal.

We dropped in after a stop at Heartland Blood Center, which is just on the other side of the complex, for a quick dinner. My wife settled on the soup and half sandwich, and that seemed to be a good way to go for me as well. I did the broccoli and cheese soup, along with one of their signature sandwich halves. It tasted just fine, and the soup was nice and hot.The restaurant was pretty busy, but we still got our food fairly quickly. The location is a little quirky - make sure you enter from the south side - if you go from the north, you're in the parking lot exit, which makes it kind of hard.We wrapped things up with 2 Cinnamon Crunch bagels for breakfast taken to go. They held up fine.
