We entertained some local friends with whom we were staying. It took a little while to choose our meals and we then ordered as volumes appeared large, each couple shared at least one course. My wife and I chose the salmon with king prawns. The meal was tasty but towards the end of eating this dish, I realised that we had not had the prawns at all. I told the waiter when he collected the plates and he said that he would talk to the kitchen. When the bill arrived, we noticed that the dish had been charged at full price even though it had not been the full portion. We were not happy to stay and argue, so I paid a 10% service charge instead of the expected twenty per cent. This rather spoilt what could have been an excellent evening out to dinner.

This restaurant changed hands in April and it shows. I wouldnât say the food was bad but it certainly wasnât what it used to be. Entire staff seems to have changed and prices are higher. A little disappointed as this was always a favorite restaurant.

We stopped here for a bite to eat after catching a sunset at May flower beach. We wanted to try something new. The food was good, the staff were attentive, friendly and efficient. Seating is limited but, comfortable. Plenty of parking. We enjoyed this little local favorite and if your in the area you should definitely pop in for a bite!

First and last breakfast here. Bait and switch. Asked for OJ, not asked if we wanted small or large. Received huge $4 OJ not wanted. Ordered $12 hash omelet. Asked what we wanted for "sides" which implies it's included in price. Got fruit and an additional $1.99 was added bringing total omelet plate cost at $13.99: ridiculous! The "hash" in omelet tasted like shredded, tasteless cardboard. Interior is blandly clean and boring. Most expensively awful breakfast we've ever had. Please try the Chatham Filling Station instead and have great food, at a reasonable price, in a charming setting... Thank you for visiting. Sorry about the size of the oj, not specifying the size/price. The fruit cup has an upcharge vs potatoes, as they cost more, but should have been said before you choose; I will make sure staff specify. Yes, we have many pedestrians visit us as we are in downtown Harwichport, which is great for walking to; as well as plenty of parking in our lot outback too.

The building is a beautiful historic property with very attractive dining areas. It was not our first time here. Our waiter professional with good service. My husband chose the Prix fixe for $40.00âHis first course was the Linnell chowderâquite hearty and tasty with a hint of herbs that really made it special. His prime rib was large, tender with a pepper crust and was flavorful. My âscrodâ in parchment while quite tasty did not seem to have true Maine crabmeat. It tasted more like Langostino and was orange! Maine crabmeat is not orange! It was also a bit on the salty side. I let it go, but was surprised not to taste and see Maine crabmeat as described in the menu. Our drinks were good but definitely on the expensive side at $13 and $15.!! Clementine cake was good. Overall, a good and mostly satisfying meal but not an âAâ.
