Fast but fresh food. Zupas is a healthy alternative to deep fried fast food choices in the area. Service is fast and food is made as you walk through the line selecting your choices. I have been adventurous and tried new combinations and I haven't had a bad meal yet! I marked it down 1 point because of the serious lack of seating during lunch hours. It's best to have someone in your party table hunt, while you stand in line for orders, otherwise, you'll be eating in outside or in your car.

We've tried numerous sushi places in the greater Salt Lake area, and this is one of the best for food quality. The salmon and tuna nigiri were very fresh and sliced at least 50% thicker than other restaurants. Our son is a salmon snob having lived several years in Alaska, but he was delighted with the freshness. Roll menu is more limited than some other places, but the spider, rainbow, and Las Vegas rolls were excellent. The tempura assortment was very good, and the curry sauce with it delighted our son who took the remainder home. Music was from a Japanese anime film, and decor appeared authentic. Prices were similar to other sushi restaurants.Table service may be minimal during peak hours, though we had plenty of friendly attention as there were few there when we were. The basic system is to fill out your own paper slip indicating items and quantities, then put it onto the counter for preparation. Food is then brought to the table. This is definitely one we'll revisit often. We were amazed at how few people were there at 6 PM on a Friday evening.

That is all. It's a fun little college spot and everyone is super nice. Food is not as advertised. Prosciutto=cold pressed ham; buffalo mozzarella=processed slices. Didn't have coffee or pastries which seems to be their go to.
