The gumbo is the only things Iâve had thus far & it wasnât good. It was almost gravy like & didnât seem too fresh. Almost no shrimp in it either. Not sure what if any other seafood was in it. Definitely wouldnât order it again. My coworker ordered it along with a sandwich. The sandwich looked great & plan on giving them a try again in the future. She liked the gumbo so it may just be a personal preference.

The guys were really in the mood for steamers so we decided to try this restaurant. First hint; no one was there except us.... They were out of steamers and told us to try steamed ipswich instead. Well, the guys decided to give it a shot... and they were like rubber. The service was very slow (how? we were the only ones there) The table ordered fish and chips (okay), New England Chowder (okay) and I had Cold Lobster Caeser salad (fair). Fun to try a new place but not worth a return visit.

1. total bargain if your crafty. i know some reviewer thought it was expensive, which i totally disagree with. if you bought the things here in a store, you would have to buy and pay for 5 times as much food at 3 times the cost or more. the food here also can help other food, including leftovers, later and makes them far better. 2. i love the walls, the lesson on bloomy rinds and washed rinds, the thumbed through books on cheese, the chalkboard, even the plastic vined walls, really made this a unique experience.3. the chance to try new things is also possible here without buying too much of what you dont like. call me a bloomy rind guy now for sure!4 outstanding sandwiches, breads, grapes, meats, spreads, olives and pickles and nice drink choices. a real treat!Wow, thank you so much for your review!
