Like others, we stumbled upon this restaurant. There are MANY in the area. In September, not all are open but they are plentiful. We spent the most money we have ever spent at a restaurant on any of our trips. However, we encouraged the owner to bring us what he felt we would enjoy and what was freshest, etc. He was charming and enthusiastic and ... well, frankly, we had a really good time! The food was definitely good. When it was exceptional, it was plentiful. I see several reviews below from people who visited in September (we were there about the third week) and I was a bit surprised to see that they were displeased. We are very friendly and adventuresome tourists so perhaps our expectations were different. We enjoyed our meal. Might recommend that a person be very clear about what they want or ... be willing to dive in and enjoy that experience.

The best restaurant in Peschici seems la Grotta, due to the unique location on the port. So we decided to have dinner there at the last evening of our stay at Peschici. What a disappointment! I can't even hardly remember the food I had due to the poor service. The food was at the best ordinary, no surprises, the waitress was a pain and the 2 boys assisting her should never be allowed to work in a restaurant. No atmosphere, no service, but...a high bill.So don't go there. Peschici has a lot more better restaurant with an excellent view. So the rating is mostly for the location.

Delightful family making a few mistakes but that just added to the charm of this little restaurant. Food excellent particularly calamari, fish soup and grilled vegetables. Spotlessly clean. Would have no hesitation in returning.
