Find out what Soups restaurants to try in Ollantaytambo. Ollantaytambo has some of the oldest continuously-occupied buildings in South America. Once a stronghold of Inca resistance to Spanish colonization, it's remarkably well-preserved. Many travelers visit Ollantaytambo because it's the beginning of the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu, but don't rush through—the ruins are fascinating.

La Merienda, is a typical meal of the ollantaytambo, which is prepared only in corn fields consisting of guinea pig, quinoa achievement of smooth, Andean salad. Let's offer pizzas with organic ingredients and typical ollantaytambo dishes.
We came here every night we stayed in Ollantaytambo we loved it so much! Everyone tends to eat right in the main square which is quite busy, but found this awesome wee restaurant with amazing pizzas and the friendliest family running it just in the quieter corner of the square. We had the pizza deal which is also cheaper than everywhere else and was happy to customise our pizza for the same price. Good strong drinks, tasty food and lovely people, really recommend this place and wish them all the best

Vegetarian Restaurant, primarily Vegan with some 'egg addition' options. Housed in the first floor of a Wellness Centre offering Yoga, Massage, Reiki, Workshops & Retreats. The menu includes: typical Peruvian dishes: Estofado de quinoa, Seco de Frejoles;
We arrived in Ollantaytambo during our dieta for San Pedro, and were delighted to discover this fantastic little place.They cater to veggies, vegans and nutters like us who are following special diets for plant ceremonies (they even have advice in their menus dependent on which medicine you've arranged to have).Awesome meals all round, they do food from breakfast to dinner, and even put together fantastic quality lunch boxes for those who have travel plans leaving the town (we were leaving for Machu Picchu and would be travelling all day, so portable food was great for us!). They do a great selection of smoothies and herbal infusions too.We even got some great advice from the staff about where was nice to go for a drink in Ollantaytambo, and where to eat near Machu Picchu once we got there!Thank you for seeking us out. We are so happy you enjoyed your food. We are just renovating our top floor so if you visit again you will be able to enjoy Kombucha or cold brew coffee in the sun and enjoy our view.

Not a very good meal and mediocre service. I had the trigo soup -- wheat, rice and meat -- that was tasty and OK. The Lomo Saltado, the staple of almost every Peruvian restaurant, was already lukewarm when served, while the rice was cold. There were more onions and peppers than there was meat. The lemonade that I ordered at the beginning was served after my meal, almost like a dessert. I and another couple were the only customers at that time. Not that good.

We went to Kuchu Wasi for lunch after climbing Pinkuylluna Mountain. I was so scared up there and exhausted, I was starving!! The owners were so happy that we were there. My husband had spaghetti and I had troucha. Both dishes were so yummy but they were huge!! The Beer was cold and tasted great after our climb. Thanks to The staff at Kucha Wasi for allowing us to sit in the gardens by the water that drains down the cobblestone street. It was so peaceful and serene. It helped to relax us and get us back to our regular breathing pattern. A delicious meal!

The vibe here is great, the food is excellent, and the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. We came in a group of six and happened to talk to them before dinner and ordered guinea pig in advanced, and it was fresh and very well done. Out of the few restaurants we tried here this was by far the best.
