Entrance fronts route 30/Lancaster Ave in this busy shopping center. Interior is a bit dated and needs freshening, perhaps was formerly a diner of some sort. Menu is varied with apps, soups, bowls of different nature and entrees. Some items can get pricey but overall within the range of other local celebrity style eat in Polynesian venues. First visit and wasnt sure what to expect from menu, and wait staff didnt explain things thoroughly plus there are no pics in menu, thankfully there are on TA and Yelp. We got a beef stew noodle soup dish and broken rice chicken plate. The soup was a traditional style in large bowl with the many ingredients flavored with tomato paste in broth. I was surprised with the the rice dish- expecting a fried rice style but as you see in the pic it was grilled thin cut chicken with a little sweet sauce and a serving of the broken rice and side of veggies. I quite enjoy my chicken this way. With tip we got out about $30 and no drinks, it is a BYOB so perhaps they dont have a license. Was popular around dinner time with families and what seemed like students from the local colleges.

In Philadelphia for a 2 day conference. Stayed at a Marriott with no place to eat or relax. Found this place right across the street. Great wait staff that were really friendly. Had the crab cake sandwich with fries....just plain awesome. Paired that with the Alaghash white beer, very very good. Would come back again for sure.

Zoup is an interesting place; they have a variety of soups and offer samples. There wasn't one that I didn't like, they were all quite tasty with my favorite being the lobster bisque, it's absolutely delicious. They have a variety of sandwiches served on ciabbata that you can customize if you want. Staff is friendly, there is a good amount of seating but the tables aren't cleaned off very often. I do think they are a little on the expensive side for the portion size. But I did enjoy my food and will probably eat here again.
