Meat was really generous however the taste was not as rich as Coto gagak. Big, numerous chunks of meat or innards were served. Crowded near the lunch time even with spacious seating.

This restaurant specialty is their grilled ribs or Konro Bakar. The rib itself is quite huge. Ask for the soup, it is flavorful. In my opinion, the ribs are quite tasteless but texture-wise it's okay. You need to dip/soak the ribs to the soup to get it more flavors. Don't forget to squeeze some lime juice and add the sambal for extra kick.

This is a simple restaurant which mainly serves a traditional dish of makassar: coto, broth with beef meat or meat and beef stomach. This dish is prepared here extremely well. The restaurant serves seafood too which is rather mediocre but not bad for the price. Nice freshly squeezed juices are served too.

I am not a big fan of Sop Saudara but we went there last week at 1 AM, our last culinary stop on our transit to Sorong (3 AM flight).Cannot believe my eyes, the place was crowded and some children ate deliciously finishing a rice with a bowl of Sop Saudara.Opened 24 hours a day, meaning good business and must have many customers all day around. Worth to try while you are in Makassar.

I was confused when i came and being served sop ubi without ubi.. Ubi in Indonesian means sweet potato, but here in Makassar it's cassava.. They are tasty though.. The place is not so crowded also.. Maybe they are shadowed by the great konro and coto makassar
