Most farm shop cafes Iâve been to are expensive, this is not. looking at the menu the full breakfast was £4.50!! (last place I went was £8.90) and 90p per item if you didnât want the works or wanted double of something! WowI ordered fried egg, sausage and black pudding. My other half had the lentil soup and a sandwich ( his only gripe was that this deal didnât come with the salad a crisps) We really didnât wait long for the food to arrive even though the cafe was really busy. There was lots of staff which helped it run smoothly. The food was really good. The toast was warm and a good colour and the egg was nice and runny. The soup was nice and tasty too. We also opted to have a bit of traybake and with a tea and juice out total cost was £15Very well priced If we are in the area again we would come back. Pity itâs closed on a Sunday
Independent coffee shop based in Leven, Fife, Scotland.
I have been here a couple of times since it opened, they seem to change staff quite a bit. They sell good coffee here at a reasonable price, along with snacks and a choice of cakes.Found it strange that at 1pm in the afternoon they had no baguettes which they advertise strongly.Staff were very pleasant. Thanks for the lovely review.I'm sorry to hear no baguettes were available on the date of your visit. We will try our hardest to ensure this does not happen again. Also, thank you for the comments on staff being very pleasant. We have had the same small team since the shop was franchised in November. They are rotated weekly to accommodate out of work interests, this may be why you have seen a few different faces.
Firstly, it's in a good position with a fabulous view, and some outside tables to enjoy it. Secondly, with a bit more support from its management (as, also, from those who are on Leven's Council) this once busy town (and a popular holiday destination, in earlier times) would benefit all. When the Pits closed, its formerly warm-hearted community was severely damaged because, everywhere are the signs of a sad decline. The 100th Monkey effect could do wonders, if all the shops and cafes upped their game. But, give the Beach Snack bar a chance; support it, make your comments, and who knows what might happen?

We are delighted to announce that The Art Cafe at Robertson Fine Art, Glenrothes is now one of the most popular destinations within the region to enjoy a spot of lunch or coffee and cakes. Whether you are in for Breakfast / Lunch or just a Coffee and Cake
This was our first visit here and was pleasantly surprised. The restaurant is at the rear of an art shop. It was very tastefully decorated. They had a lovely lunch menu but we settled for coffee and their delicious homemade scones. The service from the staff was excellent and very friendly. I would highly recommend and will be making a return visit
