We ate here with family who live in the area and they said that this is the 'go-to' place in the area. We were not disappointed with the service or the meal, both of which were excellent.

Casual dining with many things to choose from. Baked goods, sandwich salads, wraps, and soup. Yummy quiche! Also homemade cheesecakes, Hershey's ice cream, and more!
We stopped by Harvest Cafe for a quick bite recently. The food was OK, for a place that seems to get a lot of pre-made ingredients from someplace like Sam's Club. Soup was OK, a bit bland, not really hot.. Sandwiches were not especially good--very dry and not heated through. Quesadilla was very dry, very sparsely filled, and served without any salsa, sour cream, or dressing. It desperately needed something. Quesadilla was served whole, instead of sliced. It was difficult to eat. Guests are expected to pay and tip at the counter before receiving any food or service. That's just plain tacky. We would have been happy to have gotten you something different or refunded your meal had you made mention. As far as paying ahead... that's completely normal for sandwich shops. I'm sorry you feel this way.

This "old-school" lunch (and breakfast) counter is a real treasure. They offer a surprisingly varied menu for such a small kitchen. It's a super-friendly place and super-busy as well. My most recent visit, I had egg salad and albacore tuna salad. Both were fresh, classic, uncomplicated and DELICIOUS. The homemade coconut pie is so good you have to lay down to eat it.

My husband and I ate here for the first time today. The setting is lovely! We were seated near a gas fireplace, which was relaxing and cozy. Our friendly server told us about all the specials, but we decided to order from the menu. We were pleased that all the bread is baked in-house and many foods are locally sourced. My husband's hamburger was just the way he likes it. I had the Thanksgiving sandwich, which was very creative. The desserts sounded amazing, but we were full after lunch. We live in the area, so I'm sure we will be back.So glad you enjoyed your visit and we look forward to having you again. Maybe you can have dessert next time.
