We booked quite late on after a long day walking and site seeing, the setting is in an old school which is really an amazing place to sit and eat, the menu was pretty reasonable as are the prices. Everything homemade the bread was especially delicious. Marianne was great from booking until we left made us feel relaxed, so much so after our meal we sat with a drink reading some of the books on offer in the shelf. Recommend if in the Area!

Unfortunately the museum was closed for renovations whilst we were there but the tea room did not disappoint! After a lovely walk round the Butt of Ness we were ready for a cuppa and we definitely came to the right place. The tea was served in cups and saucers by lovely friendly staff and the lemon cake was to die for it was so light and fluffy! I am assured by my husband that the chocolate cake was equally as delicious. I wish the tea room wasn't so far away as I would definitely visit there again.Thank you for your kind review and we are so happy to hear your enjoyed your visit. We are so proud of the facilities we offer and hope you can visit again once our renovations are finished as it promises to be fantastic! We look forward to welcoming you again in the future!

We stopped off here late afternoon when showing friends round the island. The café area is lovely and welcoming with lots of bits and pieces available for sale. The menu was simple, but very effective. Bowls of soup were enjoyed and the cakes were pretty tasty too. We'll be back!
